Edgetech Protection Launches New Frame Protection Kits

If you’re a rider in Sydney you’ve probably heard of the boys at Edgetech Protection by now. If you haven’t, we’re 3 mates based out of Sydney’s Northern Beaches, who started designing and installing our own frame protection wraps a couple of years ago out of a garage.



We’re stoked to have put those years of experience into putting together affordable, universal fitting kits with all the tools we use on a daily basis included. Our range comprises of the Frame Protection Kit ($99) which offers coverage of all the key areas of your bike, and the Fork Lowers Protection Kit ($40). We have also broken down the Frame Protection Kit into a Top Tube, Down Tube and Rear Stays Kit , all available for $40, giving people the option to choose their level of protection or simply keeping costs low if they need a replacement piece. The best part is, they’re all available in a gloss or matte finish to match your bike so you won’t even know they are there.



What We Do So Well...
At this stage, I think everyone knows exactly what the benefits of applying paint protection film are for your bike and everyone's got a mate who has at least some film on their bike so we’ll spare you that story. Instead, we want to showcase what we do differently.

Unlike some other universal kits, we spent months measuring and noting key features of the bikes that came through our doors every day and what has resulted are carefully shaped film pieces suited to each section of your frame and forks with as little trimming required as possible.

We’re very aware that applying film to a bike can be a painful process, that’s why so many locals come to us. We strived to equip people with the best tools and knowledge to make the process as easy as possible. We worked through countless different application tools to source the best of the best to make the installation process easier and yield the best results. We also sent our kits out to local riders for feedback and addressed any pain points through our in-depth installation videos which cover every aspect of getting the best possible results from your kit.

We accompanied our kit launch with our take on the classic mudguard!, launching 12 unique designs that draw inspiration from Aussie and exotic animals, gnarly patterns and some of our favourite local trail maps, all available for $20.
