PRESS RELEASE: Enduro De La CTM

Yes! It has happened once again. After 2018 edition, the Enduro De La CTM has become more than a race, and this year was no exception. With almost 500 riders entered, we changed 100% of the trails and tookthe riders and their bikes higher and further than last year, reaching 3,400m, with almost 20 km of timed tracks. All this was in addition to the new "Base Camp" in Hacienda Santa Martina, providing a more comfortable place for riders.

Most epic Enduro-helibike race ever

On Friday, the 500 bicycles were lifted high up in the mountains, and then on Saturday it was time for riders to go up and enjoy the 3 special stages: Expreso a CTMarte (Express to F**g Mars) 4.2 kms long and -411 mts drop, Raja Pulmones (Lung Ripper) 5.2 kms and -520 mts drop and Ta 'La Wea Larga 2.0 (Damn this is F**g Long 2.0) with 9.3 kms and -1.027 mts drop.

Without a doubt, these were some delightful trails and enjoyed by the riders. That, added to the experience of flying in helicopter, left hearts beating strong with the adrenaline at the finish line. We also had impeccable logistics thanks to the professional commitment of the various parties involved, with special mention to Rotortec (Helicopters) and Outdoor Rescue (first aid and rescue team).

Since its creation, Enduro of the CTM has tried to "shake off" typical race formats and has successfully tried to turn it around to generate events and unique moments for all types of mountain bikers who want to have a good time in a race.

At the end of the day it was all laughter, beers, exchange of experiences and more beer. That was mixed with contests and tremendous prizes so that all the riders had the opportunity to win. All with their medals, it was time to go back home, and for the team the time to close the event and think about the next one. Because there will be an Enduro de la CTM for many more years!

Four years have passed since the first running of the Enduro of the CTM. We've enjoyed years of learning, trial and error, a lot of effort and, above all, overcoming limits. The premise has always been and always will be: change the game! And we are quite sure we did it again.

Looks definitely amazing but do you think it makes much sense in 2019 to burn plenty of kerosene just for playing around???

Great experience, been that far away in the mountains is the best part. Dropping down for about an hour, unknown paths, heli lift, etc. Great great great!!!

CTM means "conchetumare", or "concha de tu madre" in chilean slang, this is "your mothers c*nt" in english.
