"Open to USA Residents only." Now that's what I call a plot twist.

folks riding Alafai park are probably having as much fun or more fun that some of you
  • + 4
Can you record an elevator trip with Trailforks running? Y'all got some tall hoteys, right?
  • + 5
Just bunny hop a bunch of times.
  • + 1
 @SnowshoeRider4Life: Gravitron was crazy.
  • + 12
If I do one ride that is 40k, and 2000m of climbing, is that 10 entries, or 1, or 0 because it's too long?
  • + 13
Yay for winning free stuff, but then you'd have to ride Continental tires.
  • + 4
 My thought exactly...
  • + 3
Sounds like you have a lot of experience with Continental’s tires that have been completely re-done in the last year.
  • + 9
@lccomz: Srams brakes have been completely re-done, doesn't keep the PB mob from doubting their quality though.
  • + 7
If you win and don't want them, I'll gladly wear them out for you.
  • + 0
They did have a lot of quality issues on their older line but the redesigned ones have been performing great and testing well in independent reviews.
  • + 7
Maybe they can make the next competition more complicated, they are bound to have record-breaking participation.
  • + 3
You would think, but I have trailforks linked to Strava. It automatically entered me after my ride this evening.
  • + 1
It's not that complicated, join the contest www.trailforks.com/contests/view/4 then record a ride using the Trailforks app.
  • + 1
Garmin > Strava > Trailforks > Enter competition. All I had to do was push start on my watch.
  • + 3
Central question necessary to win: Are you smart enough and tech savvy enough to log your rides?

My answer: No, definitely not, but I'll ride my bike anyway.
  • + 3
If you have Strava -> Trailforks data transfer activated will it work?
  • + 1
Good question. I also wonder if it works with .gpx files from mapmyride. Anyone know?
  • + 2
Yes if you have your Strava connected to Trailforks and auto-importing you are eligible. Manual GPX file uploads are not though.
  • + 2
@canadaka: Thanks. I don't see how we keep track of total entries. So far I've gone on 2 rides (11mi total/2mi climb/3mi descend & 16mi total/4mi climb/4mi descent)and can only see one entry. Also, what are "points"? Sorry if these are silly questions.
  • + 1
@canadaka: I have done a few rides that meet the minimum requirements, recorded them on Strava, and have my Strava synced to my Trailforks account. However, I don't see any indication that I was awarded the badge. Is this because my ridelogs are private?
  • + 1
@canadaka: Enjoying the features of Trailforks and it's a useful app, but...I'm up to 10+ rides that meet the criteria and still only see the badge with no indication of additional entries. I figured out the points, more or less.
  • + 1
Can I hobble my busted ass around a trail without a bike? Just using the app and hoping nobody notices the two hours it's going to take me to limp that far?
  • + 1
All the trails are covered by feet of snow there is no way I can do this with out leaving town guess I'll have to go to fruita

@endlessblockades: AND AN EBIKE BECAUSE IM NOT RIDING THIS WXCOURSE OR WHATEVER
  • + 1
I have been meaning to use up some of my X-Kings. Should only take 3-4 sets to complete the 1 month challenge.
  • + 1
I just heard about this and I check pinkbike every day.
  • + 1
Err how do I run Trailforks if I'm already running Strava?
  • + 3
You can run Trailforks instead of Strava and sync the ride to Strava when you save. Or you can run at the same time. Or you can use Strava and connect your Strava account to Trailforks settings up automatic importing. Your choice.

  • + 1
Can you sync Garmin Connect to Trailforks like you can with Strava?
  • + 1
Currently no, but you can go Garmin to Strava then Strava to Trailforks. Hopefully will add a direct Garmin connection this year, we used to have one with their old browser plugin method.
  • + 1
@canadaka: Got it, I was doing Garmin to Strava to Trailforks but Strava got annoying when they switched the feed from sorted by date to an algorithm and started suggesting I give kudos to people I don't follow. Not stoked on the social media approach with Strava...
