Here's your chance to win our newly released DT Swiss EXC 1200 spline wheelset!
DT Swiss rims are known for their impact resistance and we have high requirements for enduro rims. More than 20 different carbon architecture layups with different materials were tested until the impact strength met our high standards. The key factors for an impact-resistant rim are the arrangement of the individual carbon layers, the ideal ratio between resin and carbon fibres and meticulous production process control. All these factors make the EXC 1200 SPLINE one of the most impact-resistant carbon enduro rims on the market.
See for yourself and take a chance to be one of the first to ride the new wheels!

Thats serious money. I want to find out if theyre that good.
Let's say I win the wheels. Even tho I didn't pay a dime from them, would customs treat it like I just ordered a wheelset for €2200? Because if that's the case and the wheels are coming from Switzerland, i'd have to pay 27% VAT and 50% (yes, that's right) import taxes.
But do not forget your income tax declaration.
Finland has a tax on cars on top of VAT, and that's why athletes who win cars in competitions in EU don't take them home, because they'd have to pay thousands of euros for their price car.
"DT SWISS GIVEAWAY(the “Contest”) is sponsored by DT SWISS, located at Längfeldweg 101,
2504 Biel, Switzerland (the “Sponsor”)."
So I assume the wheels would ship from Switzerland (and they're not in the EU), but that might be completely wrong.
@mikkosinisalo Ridiculous. Normally the import duty/tax whatever is around 2,5-3% here (on top of VAT), but we have this stupid 50% tariff to stop certain products "flooding in", and guess what, bikes and bike components are included. For e-bikes it's 83%.

Note: I'm no accountant just taking a guess here, if I was an accountant could probably buy them instead of having to hope on a win.
I’d have this over Enve any day.
I’d want them for free if I was sponsored! They’re still making a profit out of you...

I am running DT EX 511 with i9 torch hubs and the weight ist comparable for half the prize and with the added chance that I might be able to finish a race, even if I put a bad dent in the rim...
