CONTEST NOW CLOSED. The winner of the Feedback Sports Pro-Elite Bike Repair Stand is Pinkbike userTristan140000. CongratulationsTristan140000
Prize Details: The Pro-Elite Bike Repair Stand is found anywhere bikes are wrenched - mobile shops, race pits, and home workshops around the world. This award-winner is the premier choice for its stability, portability and serviceability.
In the 15 year history of Feedback Sports, only a handful of repair stands have ever strayed from it's red-anodized roots. This gunmetal grey anodized stand will be the only one available to the public, and hope Pinkbike fans find it something worthy of a bit of Advent Giveaway excitement.
The prize includes: • Feedback Sports Pro-Elite Bike Repair Stand • MSRP: $270 USD
There will be new prizes revealed every day in the lead up to Dec 25th so check the Advent Calendar daily on the front page of Pinkbike and make sure you enter for a chance to win.
Winners will be notified via the email associated with their Pinkbike account within 48 hours of their name being drawn.

I clearly have too much bike stuff! This is probably the third or fourth giveaway I've not entered due to not needing another one of those (though my repair stand isn't as nice as this). Not that I'd win anyway - probably won by "botgenerateduser99999"
I'm getting back to mtb the year coming up. Coronavirus has gotten me out of shape. Can't wait to fix up my bike hopefully and ride again. Man it's been awhile.
This would be a nice upgrade over my Performance brand spin dr stand. But I win "two things: Jack and shit and Jack left town." Oh well good luck to all. (...and to all a good night!)
@MaplePanda: It wasn't made to have any tensile loads - just compression. Rebuilt a few friends who learned the hard way. Of course not all droppers are alike.
If at all possible clamp it below the collar. If you don't have that much lower post exposed, you can clamp but try and rotate the bike as far as reasonable to keep axial load off the seal. Personally, because my frames and cable routing support it, I just clamp the top tube most of the time. Easier to rotate the clamp than to stress about your seatpost, but there's plenty of anecdotal evidence pointing to clamping it being less of a problem than people make it out to be.
