 yup, i thought that....they tried to make it like a reality TV show but it just did not work out. I still enjoyed it. But it could have been so much better....

 Got a flat? GTFO, you're fired. Can't build a bike for shit? No problem.
  • 219 2
 This is the most likely way to get a new bike in 2021
  • 65 0
 Are the only sizes we can win SM and XL?
  • 40 2
 If the bike is not your size and you somehow win it then just sell it for like 5k. Or keep it and use the parts for other builds
  • 79 7
 I think only people that ride size Sm and XL should be allowed to get this bike.
  • 7 1
 @mountainfishy: yea or trade the frame with some one for the frame/size you want
  • 82 1
 @AlanDuren: Yeh! All the Md to Lg people get everything in their size, pants that fit, gloves, Tacoma...
  • 14 0
 @racecase: that would be a win for me, can we also add people who live in canada O. and also people whos username is GamerTebo
  • 4 0
 I'd love an XL
  • 4 0
 @racecase: I second that.
  • 9 0
 That's OK. My wife needs a bike, too. The sm would fit her perfectly.
  • 13 0
 @racecase: tfw you go buy a Sm Tacoma but they only have Md and Lg in stock
  • 4 0
 @racecase: As someone who fits the xl, I wholeheartedly agree with you
  • 1 0
 I would get it for my dad and in a m
  • 4 0
 @racecase: Sigh. Good luck to all my fellow human periscopes! I love that they're giving the less common sizes... 6'4" guys need stuff too... Big Grin but with our luck some M/L guy is going to take it than resell it to an XL for several thousand. Razz
  • 3 2
 @mariomtblt: I'm only 6'1 and feel all Tacoma cabs only come in SM/MD. That cab is not comfy for anyone 5'11 or taller... but fashion! Tis a great truck... just not for people with long logs.
  • 2 0
 @noapathy: +1 on that, c'mon Pinkbike, wifey needs a new pair of wheels!
  • 1 0
 @racecase: lol tacoma. I had a '98. now my girlfriend has a '20 and I have a '00 sienna....

TL;DR gimme dat xl tho
  • 1 0
 @dglass: I had a 98 Tacoma and several vehicles later I had a 00 sienna, now I have an 01 suburban.....maybe that's your next vehicle too! Haha
  • 1 0
 I think it means small through XL.
  • 3 0
 @Bike-goon165: No, It would have a dash like this SM - XL.
But instead it has a comma SM, XL
  • 1 0
 @mountainfishy: yes you are right, but it might be a typo.
  • 1 0
 if you check the link for more info it also says you can choose a size large
  • 4 0
 I'm a md and I applied because I'm a poor grad student. If I win I will make sure whoever I sell it to gets the deal of a lifetime.
  • 4 0
 @WildboiBen: why not sell it at a good price and get more money and the person who buys it get a good deal too.
  • 53 9
 That was such a rad series!! Thanks and cheers to all of the crew that was involved.
  • 29 0
 Am I the only one who clicks to enter twice just so I can see the "Already entered" popup? Feels like I boost my odds of winning 2x to see that confirmation from Pinkbike. Because, you know.. 2x0 = ...
  • 5 0
 you're not alone
  • 10 2
 These contests are rigged. I keep entering but never win. Maybe I'll try your method next time
  • 2 0
 @dcaf: definitely rigged ????
  • 16 1
 @dcaf: It's electronic voting, we all know Hugo Chavez has it rigged so he wins. It's time to march down to the Pinkbike offices and fight like hell!

  • 1 0
 @2100298834459: There is no spoon.
  • 19 1
 Read and follow all the rules or you wont win! Especially the part about not talking in the car when you drive to the the local Orbea shop to pick it up!

Way to go Orbea/ PB I would think with the global shortage folks wouldn't be giving away bikes! So hats off....I guess delivery might be April 2022...but still great.

If I win I will get it to be Vlad's bike color and claim it was his bike. My mancrush for Vlad can live on.
  • 21 3
 SM and XL only?

Only dwarfs and giants allowed in this contest?
  • 58 1
 Giant checking in here. Please don't enter so I win it. Thanks!
  • 13 0
 @mndirt88: dwarf checkin but if i win I'll grab the XL Razz
  • 4 0
 @mndirt88: I entered. I’m a M or L. I’ll sell it to you.
  • 2 0
 @slayersxc17: same. i would much rather have a cheaper bike that fits me and an extra $1500 cash that a really nice bike that doesn't fit.

DuckDuckGo it.
  • 6 0
 @slayersxc17: the reach is 485 on the xl, pretty close to a lot of size large bikes

 @mndirt88: 6'2 14 year old here, seconding that. If you aren’t between 4'10 - 5'3 or 6'1 - 6'5, please don’t enter 3
  • 15 7
 @BenPea: Surrendering like a true Frenchman
  • 8 0
 @peterfoley5: If you are really 6'2'' and only 14, the XL is gonna be too small by the time the bike gets shipped to you. So maybe don't enter either Smile
  • 2 0
 @peterfoley5: according to orbea's size chart. SM is between 160 cm (5'3)- 175 cm (5'9) and XL is between 180 cm (5'11) - 198 cm (6'6). so should "fit" most people. only small sizegap in between. ... Source
  • 2 2
 @seismicninja: I am haha why would I lie about that
  • 8 1
 Jesus christ people, it doesn't matter who enters or doesn't enter. None of us are going to win anyways.
  • 1 0
 Thats right. Move along normal size people, nothing to see here
  • 1 0
 @peterfoley5: I'm. 6'4 and I'm 14
  • 11 0
 @mountainfishy: I'm 7'9 and I'm 11
  • 2 0
 @BenPea: well, I have been told the French are rude d*ckheads and the English stuck-up, self-centered turds. I never did believe it - and then you came around and shattered my world by combining it all...
  • 9 1
 @Heidesandnorth: You took the time to type something amusing so I may as well respond. I was actually mucking about at first, but when the guy (and the prop jockeys) failed to spot that I was making a joke and took offence at my faux taking of offence (it's easy to oversestimate people's sense of humour isn't it?), I got annoyed at the dumbness of it all and it got a bit out of hand. Also, given the nature of time zones, when Americans are at work the French are often getting drunk, which can lead to certain issues. The internet can drag us into some silly shit sometimes and it should probably never have been invented. Thanks for your 5-star review.

 Reading thru the Contest Term and Conditions page it says:

“ Timing:
The Contest is open from February 4, 2021 at 9:00 AM Pacific Standard Time (“PST ”) to February 18, 2021 at 11:59 AM PST (the “Contest Period”) “

While 2 lines below the CTT, the contest period is defined as:

**February 11, 2021 at 10:00 AM Pacific Standard Time (“PST ”) to March 14, 2021 at 11:59 AM PST (the “Contest Period”)

It doesn't really matter that much tbh as my chances are near zero, but I thought that it should be correctly defined.
  • 5 0
 Corrected! Cheers! Correct dates: **February 11, 2021 at 10:00 AM Pacific Standard Time (“PST ”) to March 14, 2021 at 11:59 AM PST (the “Contest Period”) Good luck!
  • 1 0
 @Segu ur definitely winning now....
  • 1 0
 @lyalltheweebeastie: you missed the NOT out mate, correcting the mods is a definite no no
  • 8 0
 If I win the small, I'm donating it to ridelikeagirl.ca !
  • 7 0
 Being short pays off for once!
  • 9 0
 Now that we can't go on planes there are few advantages left. Plus coronavirus in the air is denser as you get closer to ground level.
  • 3 0
 It pays off all the time for you guys (in terms of products), you get to have all the sweet deals on gear (the giants benefit from that too ofc).
  • 7 1
 Geo on the XL looks not far off from a common L from most other manufactures. so to all you giants out there....sorry
  • 7 2
 Am I the only one that thinks the colors on this bike are hideous? Red, orange, and gold should not all be combined
  • 6 0
 Local guy! Nice Win @Motoracer31
  • 1 0
 Yup, I thougth so too. Local FTW, have fun @Motoracer31
  • 6 0
 the chances of winning are about 100000000 to 1 but its worth a go
  • 1 0
 I'm 5'10" and I'd definitely take the SM. I've been riding since the good ol' days - when "big" downhill bikes had tiny cockpits. A slightly smaller frame suits me just fine. Especially considering everything about this beauty gives me goosebumps.
  • 2 0
 5'6 here. But i like smaller bikes cause i got them stumpy legs. 26er rider here. Would like to try the 29er but if i dont like it id give it to my friend! His favourite color orange.
  • 2 0
 i did not win this is completely rigged and totally unfair. how dare you not pick me. sure this bike wasnt even my size and yes i intended to sell it, but the audacity pink bike i even entered twice
  • 1 1
 The reason for only small and XL being available is probably because Orbea doesn't want to give away a bike in a more popular size (M or L) that they would have an easier time selling. That being said, if it puts anyone off entering because the bike won't fit them, I'm not complaining (about a possibly smaller entry size, and therefore the same chance of winning: 0%, but I still enter anyway).
  • 3 0
 Pinkbike has grown so much! This time I wish the winner is outside USA. (Don't hate me people from the USA ????)
  • 2 0
 i would sell this, upgrade my nieces and nephews bikes... and maybe my wife's frame (she's on a factory defect frame that was cheap)
  • 6 0
 I would sell this and use the proceeds to create world peace, cure cancer and revive Eddie Van Halen...
  • 2 0
 @mhoshal: Ok Ok... i would do none of that, i would keep the bike, gloat, and fly past them all and splash muddy puddles next to people waiting at bus stops. ????
  • 4 0
 Loved the series, this giant how's to win this sexy ass bike!
  • 2 0
 Fingers Crossed! My kids and wife could use a new bike...that's too damn many bikes for me to buy so winning one would be a huge help lol.

 Yes, I cannot wait to be told that I am not the winner!

  • 1 0
 If I win I'm goin for the XL! I can finally put my custom fiveten platform freeriders to good use... hang my mini disco ball from my visor and ready to rip.
  • 1 0
 I had an Orbea Lobular road bike that I sold when we had a kid, because I couldn't haul the trailer with it. I guess if I win, I could give her the SM now that she's grown.
  • 2 0
 some people are seriously so lucky! try calculate the odds of winning by using an algorithm..!!!
  • 3 1
 I would take all the parts or most of them off and sell the frame and parts I don't use.
  • 2 1
 @racecase: totally deserve it, idk why wouldn't they just give it to you ????mhm
  • 3 0
 I had the 650b, alloy rallon. Loved it
  • 1 1
 The first part of the skill testing question is to assemble your bike. If you make it through all ten steps of the skill testing question without getting voted off the island, you get to keep it.

 Would be awesome to win but my luck does not work on Pinkbike, Anyways each year I am trying to win anything on advent calendar contest so maybe one day....

  • 2 1
 ahhahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahah WIN SOMETHING?!!?!?!! ON PINKBIKE?!?!!? haahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha silly people saying silly things.
  • 2 1
 The Contest Period is way too long. If it's a replica, then participants should have at most 24 hours to enter.
  • 1 0
 What a beauty. Let the Bike Gods send positive vibes my way for this bike????
  • 1 0
 That bike would be a dream come true, also I feel the size thing is sm to xl cuz otherwise it makes no sense really.

 I've WON?!?! Thanks Pinkbike.....

  • 1 0
 Are my chances of winning this better than winning a Tacoma and all that Burton gear? Either way I still enter everything.
  • 1 1
 Is it just me or does this look like A LOT like the Specialized Stumpy on first glance? Maybe it's the other way round, depending on which brand you are a fan of. Smile
  • 3 3
 Seeing as the Rallon was released long before the stumpy (with that asymetric shock), I'd the say the Spaz looks like the Orbea.
  • 1 0
 I just need a new rear wheel, smashed it into oblivion. However a new bike would be nice.
