In the thumbnail those look like booty shorts. Glad to see that's not the latest trend in riding gear!

Goes great with the daisy dukes!

I say, "why settle for a 12-pack, when you can have the whole keg?".

Not enough red to make me faster.

What's the general consensus on 100% mtb kit? I mostly know them for offroad goggles, which are usually on point.
  • 3 0
I have their gloves (albeit different than above) and I love them. As good as their googles. I wouldn't hesitate to get more of their products.
  • 1 0
Their gloves fit me nicely, if a little fragile. But seeing as they're pretty cheap they don't cost more overall than any of the other brands.

@DaMilkyBarKid: I think I paid $6 for mine and they've lasted a season and a half! Maybe the single best investment I've ever made in mtb, haha.

Have a FF helmet, gloves, goggles, and R Core X shorts. All are awesome but sizing is weird. I wear a 30 in Airmatic (32 wasn't close), and 32 in R Core X (and they fit a little tight). Jerseys run big.

I have some airmatic shorts from a couple of years ago that have a poorly designed fit adjustment mechanism that slips halfway through a ride, but I understand they've since redesigned it. A minor modification to the plastic sliders to prevent them rotating did the trick. They're decent shorts otherwise and the sizing of both shorts and liner is pretty close to spot on.

I got a couple of airmatic shorts and jersies in the summer. Very comfortable for trail riding, don't hold perspiration and fit nice. I can't add anything as for durability of the shorts other that a few small crashes did no damage and no seams parted.
The tops were prone to looking tired after a few rides and washes.
Would I recommend?

I love my FF helmet, the core pants I wear a lot out of function (great light protection for trail riding) but they don't fit ideally, a little bunchy in the knees and ride down back - I'll try another brand of pants next. I also have a DH jersey that is cool looking but thin and tight for XL with armor.

I have multiples of their Ridecamp series jerseys and shorts. Those are awesome. The shorts have additional snaps to accommodate the size adjustment needed after post-ride meals (or those accustomed to vanity sizing). Jerseys have survived multiple trail tumbles with no tears/rips.

My son has their goggles for use with a full-face--can't tell you much about them other than he hasn't bugged me for another set of goggles for almost a year.

Their gloves, however, are absolute garbage. First set I bought started separating at the palm on a dirt-jump session--no crashes, out of the box. Thought it was a fluke, bought another set and the synthetic palm was pretty much worn through on a 3-day trip--again, out of the box, no crashes, and don't ride nearly as hard as a lot of Pinkbike members (see user name).

Well I have their Helmet Aircraft, which is also superb, one of the best looking helmets imho.
  • 2 0
It's good stuff, I just have an immediate negative reaction to the work "kit" as I like to wear "clothes" when I ride, which really means whatever shit was on closeout last year.

 Crop top?

French cut. 100% graphics have been slipping lately. Get back to Mojave Desert Barstow MX style. Braaaap

The Altec Helmet is one of the best I've worn.
  • 1 0
i love mine!! though, the visor broke on the 3rd ride and i have to tape it up otherwise it flops down..

I've not had much luck with their stuff this year. Bought the r core gloves and sent them back due to defect. My second pair is separating at the seam between my thumb and index fingers. After 3 rides a zipper broke on the pocket my new airmatic shorts. Sent them back. Ordered new altec helmet based on sizing of my current tld a2. Too small. I've got fox gear thats like 9 years old and its held up much better.
  • 1 0
@TylerG96: a visor shouldn't break 3 after a few rides unless you slammed your head. The quality of 100% has gone to shit.
  • 1 0
@Cbragg: no crashes, broke while adjusting the visor. It has a pretty large adjustment range but the limit tab thing that follows the path of the visor at the connection points broke. Out of the box it was pretty loose and trail chatter with a light mount on the helmet would shake the visor down. Even though it's broke I got tape to fix it

Man ! That kit would go with my bike so nicely ! Plus i really need new helmet .
  • 1 0
My 32” shorts are more like a 34”!
  • 1 0
Airmatic? Had the same experience. R Core X are snug, however.
  • 1 0
@scvkurt03: yes aromatic. The old light blue ones were a decent fit, but the new design dark blue with the aluminium hook buckle thing were too big. I had to get them altered so they didn’t fall down.
