Richie! Looking forward to seeing what he can do on that new Yeti DH bike.
  • 7 1
I’m happy to see him on the DH bike but with the current level of the field likely he won’t place in the top 10.
  • 10 0
@abueno: Agreed, I'd be happy if he were to make it into finals so I can watch his run, something we can't do with his EDR runs.
  • 10 0
Top 10?! Making a cut right now is a feat in itself.
  • 2 1
 @abueno: top 60 if he's lucky
  • 6 0
@ajayflex: Where you been brother? Richie qualied 32nd at snowshoe and MSA last season.

yesss, Ed Masters, hope we could finaly see this rising star shine in it's full glory. Downside would be less content from EdBullMedia, but you can't have it all, i guess.A

Please could we have tables, not images please
  • 20 5
 Make your own tables
  • 18 1
@TommyNunchuck: yeah, make your own tables!

More constructively, newish Excel will make tables out of pictures. Data -> Get Data -> From other sources -> from picture. Does an alright job.
  • 10 0
Tbh it is definitely better practice to embed information in html i.e in a table, rather than embedding a picture. But who f-ing cares
  • 12 0
@enduroNZ: I care... not a lot, but it'd be cool if you could ctrl-F and search by name/country/etc.
  • 10 0
@enduroNZ: won’t somebody think of the SEO!? And the accessibility. And the amount of data stored and transferred.

It turns out I care.
  • 2 0
@rbasoalto: This is exactly why I brought it up Smile

Keep hoping to see Rachel Atherton on the start list at one of these.
  • 2 0
I might be mistaken, but I think her last WC win was her 40th. Seems like a good place to stop. Id love to see her race again, but something tells me that her focus is elsewhere.
  • 3 0
Key reason for Rachel to race last year was due to the World Champs being held at her "home track" Fort William where she traditionally does well. History will read that she crashed in practice, dislocated her shoulder, still raced finished a respectable 8th and Vali took the stripes.

I believe that the last we will see of Rachel at a race and she will focus on the family businesses, being a mum and commentating.

 350 riders is kinda mental
  • 4 7
 It's too many.

@CantClimb: "Too many riders" f*ck off

@CantClimb: who's to say they don't deserve to enter?
They obviously have all fulfilled the qualification criteria, or do you want less accessibility and more exclusivity?
  • 4 0
@Maxcommencemal: they obviously all qualified to enter based on the current criteria, so they deserve to be there. But it just seems to be pushing the boundaries of logistics and what is possible to squeeze into a weekend event. This is the highest level of racing, that has to be protected to keep it a quality event.

Cheers Max!
  • 9 1
@CantClimb: the biggest change over the last few years is the number of junior men, but I haven't seen the quality dropping off. If anything it's improving.
What you're suggesting is limiting the entries, how are you going to do that? By upping the fees or only allowing accredited teams to compete?
The time and money people put into gaining the 40 UCI points is already a huge barrier, especially if you're changing continents to attend classed races. I believe the bar is already high enough.
  • 3 1
@Maxcommencemal: Amen to that Max. I'd like to see Scott take on the juniors who are not worthy in a race Smile It'd be hysterical to see.
  • 1 0
@Maxcommencemal: regional challenger and qualifying series with top seeds going through to world tour level. Run it across junior and senior levels. Like surfing. It’s not only the money costs of dragging 350 riders around the world that make the system prohibitive for many but ultimately the carbon footprint must be huge.
  • 1 1
yep, but apparently having privateers etc is what the people want for the f1 version, everyone can have a go and get a medal.....
  • 5 0
I notice Beyond Racings Abbie Hogie in 10th place overall for Fantasy - thats pretty impressive running a successful fantasy team as well as your own provateer team!
  • 7 0
 Where is connor fearon?
  • 1 0
Came here to write that....what up?
  • 7 1
Bex Barona and Chloe Taylor look to be having a crack at the DH. Nice.
  • 3 0
When is Gwinner going to suit up ? I mean I like him on the mic, but been riding a few months now... hoping to see him build back up on the clock and go for a few more podiums !!
  • 2 0
He has a broken foot now as well apparently. He was on the broadcast in crutches a couple races ago
  • 1 0
 @colinb19: what?? Brutal luck!!
  • 1 0
@colinb19: Oh no ... excavator malfunction in the park ??? Crappy news.
  • 2 0
 When is timed training?
  • 2 2
Hattie Harnden focussing on EDR and not DH is ruining my fantasy team
  • 5 0
Seeing her race xc again would be fun.
  • 5 0
@gcrider: She raced and won the British XC National at Cannock Chase two weeks ago.
  • 2 2
 Any updates for Jackson Goldstone?
  • 3 0

  • 12 0
dude you need to watch WynTV. The best news I am watching these days Big Grin
  • 9 0
@alacart: WynTV and MoiMoi is the best World Cup content out there.
  • 8 0
@animalrkent: moiMoiTV is the only contact I have with enduro. Unbelievable how much they’ve botched it
  • 8 0
There’s no point rushing back to racing and potentially causing even worse damage
  • 1 0
@lecoz he’s out for the season mate.
  • 1 1
Are we actually going to be able to watch Qualies??
  • 2 0
No, just like we never have been. This still gets asked surprisingly often.
