Video: Epic Trails Spain

Epic Trails Spain is based in Almeria in the south of Spain. We offer mountain bike holidays but this is no XC holiday! The trails vary in style but are all about full on gravity riding. Some trails are fast and flowing where as others are super rough and rocky. There's something different everyday.


We use a nine seater van and 9 bike specifically built trailer to get you from the airport to the accommodation and to the trails everyday. Most trails are accessed by pedalling but sometimes we use the van to get you up some of the climbs.

You will stay in a large modern house with swimming pool and even an onsite mini DH trail and two pump tracks so you can always get your fix of biking if you're not tired from the days ride.

Lunch is normally a traditional Spanish "menu del dia" or "tapas" in a local Andalucian bar or a packed lunch for big days out in the mountains.

Epic trails is perfect for winter training. We have had, Greg Williamson of Trek World Racing, Mark Scott who is an enduro racer for WIDEOPENMAG and local friend "Lampi" who races for the Orbea enduro crew come train with us.

Spain is the second most mountainous country in Europe. At 1800 meters above sea level in winter sometimes you're up in the clouds.

It's spring time here at the moment. the perfect time to get some riding done before it gets really hot.
