The Wright Line with Keegan Wright: EP3 Roots - Video

Mar 15, 2018
by Cycles Devinci

In this episode of The Wright Line, Keegan Wright heads into New Zealand’s Wairoa Valley to session a network of flowy South Island trails known collectively as “The Gorge”. This fern-cloaked paradise, located near the town of Nelson, annually hosts the Dodzy Memorial Enduro race. (Keegan podiumed at the event last year.) After a shuttle ride to the 1,200-meter summit, we follow the Kiwi phenom over the edge, as he shreds steep lines and talks about the origins of his enduro passions. Tune in for another stoke-fuelled trip.

This multi-part series has Keegan test-driving his new Spartan across a few favorite trails, while showing you some of NZ’s best riding terrain.

Best bike park I've ever been to. Admittedly it's not that long a list, but The Gorge is very good.

The Gorge is insane! Super well designed trails on steep terrain with lots of vert. Best bike park I’ve ever ridden outside of Whistler (but also not the longest list). Plus there’s no crowds whatsoever, making it extra rad.

He was riding it today at Crankworx Enduro. Looks nice with the red forks up front. He flies out to Chile on Monday so I guess the next time we see the 29er will be in Chile Smile
