@RedBurn: yes, but what is really pity is that all direct sales companies make bikes with pressfit, which is anoying ????
  • 2 0
Yes it does. It smokes a Pole..ehem...aesthetically.
  • 2 1
It looks broken when it goes full travel - weird @fecalmaster:
  • 2 1
@Lasse2000: For real, they need a new design bad but chainstays pivots??? Maybe they know something we don't.
  • 4 2
@fecalmaster: Product Manager at Ellsworth: “We need a new design, but I can’t think of anything.”

Random old guy with weird beard Ellsworth hired for some reason but they forgot: “How bout we make a new version of the Bianchi Super GX? Nobody has copied that design yet.”

High fives all around.

@RedBurn: you seen the canyon spectral AL 6.0? Amazing $$$ for that build.
  • 2 0
@Brdjanin: so do a lot of traditional brands, unfortunately. Probably the one thing I hate about my Kona. Just ordered that Wheels Manufacturing screw-together BB replacement, hoping that'll finally stop the endless creaking.

@RedBurn: yep but no frame only option for yt Canada makes it a no go for me! They need to get that sorted..

@richierocket: Have you any idea what they charge us for Maxxis in the UK? 60USD for a decent tyre is c-h-e-a-p!
  • 2 0
@tref-h: That is exactly what I meant. Unfortunately, sarcasm does not translate well through keyboards. I am currently residing in South Korea and the same Maxxis (if you could actually find one) would be double. Hence...

Dude on the double decker bike literally spent the entire day riding around the bike exhibit area doing wheelies. I think he wanted attention, but nobody was impressed.
  • 9 0
Poor guy. He'd been working on that trick for months, just for this occasion!
  • 16 1
He actually got the attention after all. Pinkbike members are talking about him right now. Here's his 15 seconds of fame..
  • 4 2
you ever tried that? loop out city.
  • 3 0
@speed10: yep. My dad and his friend built a tall bike in the 70s with two Schwinn 26 beach cruiser frames. I used to ride it to school and all around. Actually easier to wheely than a normal bike, and this was with a coaster brake. It was the only bike I could ever do a bar spin on while wheeling (I was fair at best at doing wheelys and can’t manual for crap).
  • 17 0
The presta valve on the air booster indicates its probably refillable. Now, if only someone would do the same for smaller cartirdges so Co2 cartirdges werent so wasteful.
  • 2 0
Not only is the Milklt bottle refilable but you can use the bottle as a water bottle as well with a seperate cap ,store the head in your pack or tool kit. That is nifty.
  • 1 0
@joeyrotundo: Yep, that's the idea of the Milkit. It's pretty cool tbh if you think you might need to reseat a tubeless tyre in the wild. You've got a pressure safe bottle that you fill with water and use to drink from, and a special valve head (the blue bit) that lives in your bag until you need it. Then you just drink/empty any remaining water, fit the special head and pump it up with your favourite mini pump. Then you have a pint of compressed air to bang a bead with. It's really a pretty cool idea, so much better than CO2 unless maybe you're actually racing.
  • 1 0
@tref-h: I mean I kinda dig the idea, but most people don't ride with metal bottles. For bikepacking? Maybe. Maybe they could coat the bottles with something to make them kinda rubberized so the stay in a bottle cage better (and don't ping when hit with rocks). Also, could the Milkit kit reinflate a tire to riding pressure if it wasn't unseated?

 The new panaracer minion dhf
  • 1 0
 without a doubt
  • 2 1
They need to bring back the red and blue side walls they used to do. Not saying I would buy them...but they should at least exist.
  • 4 1
Is it a pinion or a miniracer?
  • 4 0
Looks EXACTLY like a Vittoria Goma
  • 4 1
The Cornering knobs look impressively small. Minion DHF, just a crappier version.
  • 1 1
Looks like a minion is in nowadays.
  • 9 2
Seriously? WTF, do y'all have some sort of Freudian fetish for Minions? That looks NOTHING like a DHF. One row of centre knobs are much less square with more ramping, and the side knobs don't have that 90 degree bend that Minions' do.

This looks nothing like a Minion.
  • 3 1
@mnorris122: there is nothing original about that design.
  • 2 1
 @mnorris122: first thought Specialized Butcher...

Second thought - someone’s getting sued.
  • 13 2
I am so undecided about this Ellsworth. Something so weird looking yet so beautiful at the same time. Paint job alone is worth a thumbs up, anyway. But looks aside -the suspension looks very very interesting.
  • 5 4
Mahh, i say: kill it before it lays eggs.
The rear end of the suspension is totaly wrong, gives me the shivers...
  • 1 0
I think the axel path looks decent. Reminds me of breezer's m link with that chainstay.
  • 7 0
You can never go wrong with Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am colors. Because you can never watch that movie too many times. " Give me a Diablo sandwich and a Dr. Pepper! and make it quick, I'm in a God Dam hurry!!"
  • 1 4
Never heard so many cliche answers if it’s the same interview I’m thinking of. Being at a few shows in the early 90s isn’t Punk Rock.
  • 10 4
Isn't fasthouse the brand that tried to promote the "punk rock credentials" of their marketing manager, but nobody could figure out who the hell he was? Yet another corporation trying to exploit a subculture. No thanks.
  • 4 1
Shame you think that, they make really good moto gear, I'm sure it'll translate well to MTB
  • 7 2
Would you rather watch that ellsworth squish vid for ten hours or sausage being stuffed into intestines for ten hours? gotta pick one.
  • 4 0
 I love sausage, soooo....^^
  • 6 0
Wow that design is spot on for Ellsworth - damn I like.
  • 2 0
Seems to check a lot of boxes, but people either hate Ellsworth or join the cult worshipping it. At this point aesthetics don't come into it and function isnt enough to win the public over.
  • 5 0
Thanks Velo I was thinking I should rest my sweaty junk on a dogs back and now I can.
  • 5 0
watching the ellsworth squish was like watching a broken bone move around, not supposed to move that way!
  • 2 0
I think we should have a tubeless valve standard. If rim makers had a threaded hole in the rim for a valve stem with a nice o-ring interface that would be nice. I sometimes have issues with springing leaks around the valve just from the movement and stuff of attaching an detaching my pump head. It's not that secure and some valves work in some rims but not as well as others because of the profile of the inside of the rim. Just seems like we could do it better.
  • 1 0
Doesn't work, too much variation between rim profiles. Also, rims of sensible weight are far to thin for any meaningful thread. If you think you have problems from what you're describing, try making MTB tubeless valves play nice in fat bikes with flat, single wall 80mm+ profiles. Leak city. Usually a valve cut off an old tube works better...
  • 1 0
@tref-h: Just make it locally thick in one spot like some rims do to support spoke nipples, except this time it's just one place so it wouldn't necessarily add much weight at all.

29 Devinci Wilson is dead sexy! Where are the Spartan and Troy 29er?
  • 2 0
 not before fall apparently
  • 9 0
Missing a pic of Stevie behind that devinci wilson

 @RedBurn:

Long live Chainsaw!
  • 5 1
That Ellsworth likes it from behind.
  • 1 1
Well how come, even though those Panaracer tyres look OK, Some one got payed to design it, I know I could do a better job
But will this make Panaracer popular again?
Well, Time will tell, but I already know the answer to that one!
  • 1 0
Panaracer bring back the smoke lite.,I remember once hitting a not particularly large rock and having almost simultaneous front and rear blowouts. Was running the regulation 45 lbs of pressure as well. Ah those were the days
  • 2 0
 $350 for mountain bike pedals...

The best part of my XT trails is that I paid $65 and don’t give a crap about rock strikes.
  • 1 0
I feel the same way about the M530. They're barely more expensive than spare cleats.
  • 3 0
The inflation booster looks like a good product, howeer I do not really want to Google 'Milk It'...
  • 4 0
 free park baker
  • 2 1
Is it only one use this air booster?
  • 7 0
From a tube named Milkit, it probably can discharge again after 1 hour or 6 ????????‍♂️
  • 1 0
It has a presta valve on the top.. Im assuming.. refillable... many times..
  • 2 0
I have their tubeless system pictures below, the syringe and such work great but the valves are literally useless. Once installed you can only insert sealant or air, and can't check your air pressure after a few rides. All you can do is hope your hand squeeze technique is accurate. Had them warranty replaced and same thing happened. I still use the syringe and hose to add sealant but replaced the valves with Stan's.

Poc helmet and googles...very nice. More colours?
  • 1 0
Squish the Ellsworth all you want, but it won't make it pretty
  • 1 0
I want that Milkit's Booster, where can I buy?
  • 1 0
 I like the cameo sole
  • 1 0
 Did you mean, Camel Toe?
  • 1 2
Too bad about the red on the Devinci. Rockshox not making that Boxxer in black?
