Richard Cunynghame takes a look at the stages ahead of the penultimate race of the 2016 season. There are going to be some big liaisons linking together a huge variety of terrain. Riders are already saying this is going to be some of the best terrain that they've raced.
I rode that zone for a couple days, amazing location, grey earth was an amazing experience & guillaumes was some of the tightest switchbacks I've ever ridden...top shelf
Was thinking precisely the same. These races are just amazing both in terms of scenery and of riding conditions. Don't want to diss on Val di Sole or Mt Saint Anne in the DH world, but I feel that &duro (hehe avoiding the e-word) puts much more of an accent on overall physical condition, riding technique(s) and mech skills. DH only wins because it's media and crowd friendly IMHO.
Full stages preview ... Yummy
