Bikepark Leogang saw plenty of visitors outside of events as well and the increase of 15% in total rides in 2018 set a new record. Europe’s largest beginner area, the Riders Playground, also saw a large increase in use, which is promising great things to come from the next generation of riders. Over the last months the shapers of Bikepark Leogang have also been busy expanding the bikepark. Riders can look forward to an additional gondola as well as several new trails and further new projects in 2019. Details on the expansion of Bikepark Leogang will be announced in spring, but one thing is already clear now: the 2019 season in Saalfelden Leogang will be a true celebration of mountain biking.

How about more trail maintenance? It could be more fun riding leogang.

...it worked like that the last 10years - why change it?

I was there once this year and regardless of the number of gondolas will not go there again. Not worth the drive and I fully agree on the lack of maintenance.

crazy idea I know, but what if you use your 10k Bike with all the live valve and lockouts to...i don't know...ride up on your own?
Then you can invest the cost of a new gondola in more trail maintenance.

Big Grin
I am so glad, that europe have so many bikeparks everywhere! Like CHATEL! best park in europe and price is just 22Eur, and all the another parks just over the hill.... im just riding there and nowhere else... doesnt matter if you pack your stuff and ride 5h to Leo or 8h to Chatel, is the same...

 Awesome! Looking forward to it!

As for those complaining about the breaking bumps...three things:
1. Chose a different line
2. Don't brake over them so the suspension stays active
3. Most importantly...don't frickin' go to Leogang during the Bike Festival and there won't be that many breaking bumps...

Good news, love that place! A new gondola is needed at the bottom, was there a few days last year and one morning the queue was so massive we decided to pedal up. We were on eBikes though, so was a nice ride, but it used a whole battery, after looping one of the new trails halfway up. Normally you can gondola to the top and then set off on epic rides all around the valley to saalbach and back on one battery. SO many good fresh trails there when you venture out of the bikepark.
