Fails For Mother's Day

 I emailed EVOC directly, they asked for proof (emails from Pinkbike and links to the page which the winners listed) and within a week I had a shiny new freeride bag.

I was really impressed with EVOC taking control and sending a bag out... If you've won also and have evidence then I'd highly recommend emailing your countries office!

 ^ That's the complete opposite of them taking control, haha. You had to alert them and to provide proof of the contest existing? That's whack as all hell. Does PB put these contests on without any oversight from Evoc? It seems the only people who get their gear are the ones who take the initiative and contact Evoc to provide "proof" of them winning a contest. What if the winner blew up both hands and eyeballs during the crash!? That person would never get their bag and that's just sad. But seriously though, these videos are awesome and get your shit together Evoc.

 I didn't write the complete story Scott.... I initially saw that I had won a Saturday Sequence when it was listed here on PB a few weeks after my caption was written. I PM'd PB (I'll refrain from using user names) to ask if I had actually won. A few days later I had a reply saying yes and to send them me address details.

A year later when this accident competition started up (I'd completely forgotten that I'd won), I was reminded that I had won and emailed PB again: (same user) which to this date still shows as not being read. A few months later I emailed EVOC directly and had it resolved within a week. I would say that's a pretty clear case of EVOC taking ownership. Their customer service was professional at all times... particularly that I see the oversight being with PB.

I Completely understand why you'd think differently given I didn't initially wish to share the full story... but since you took the time to make an nonconstructive reply I thought I'd share the details.

As for your hypothetical eyeless stump armed rider... they'd have never been able to see and type a reply with their address anyway!

 I feel your pain coolbeans, I won a sequence Saturday a few years back and never got anything either.

 fun fact: i was told that i won the february contest, but turns out that they are mentioning a user which didn't appear on the february contest, at least as far as i know...

 patch- that makes a bit more sense. It sounds like that PB user just fell off the face of the planet. whoops.

 I thought exactly the same! Was like, oh shyte! Bad times - these comments have made me feel better for sure! The Sheffield lad I think took the hardest slam... Trees always win, ALWAYS!

 So's mine unfortunately, It was more the panic that my sons hadn't got their mother cards.... because that would be all my fault of course!

 He realized in mid air h3 was headed for the tree. Instead of leaning the bike away from the collision and trying to ride it out, he panicked and grabbed brake.
