We've all been there: It's the rock roll you've done a thousand times before, that one off-camber root section, or maybe it's your first time hitting a brand new drop - you crash. Evoc would like to reward you for your blunders by dishing out prizing for the best fail of each month. Here are our picks for November.

Hey evoc, still waiting on my bag from sequence Saturday last year...
  • 121 2
You'll probably never get it. I won a sequence saturday around two years ago, was contacted more than once about shipping addresses and such, but nothing ever came of it.
  • 123 2
pinbike needs to take note of this.
  • 72 0
 That's poor show...cough up evoc
  • 21 0
I just received notification about their error - hopefully I'll be able to give them a positive note next time this feature comes around!
  • 24 1
I got mine about 3 weeks ago. Won the contest over a year ago. Good job guys.... Not sure if it was Evoc or Pinkbike that messed up.
  • 15 1
I think too much of these people paid too much attention to those Skoda tutorials that were on here last week ...
  • 12 0
Still "waiting" for my bag from a sequence saturday from may 2013... Frown didnt even ask for it to be sent to my actual home here in hong kong was going to get it sent to aunts house in canada
  • 5 0
There is a direct correlation between skills videos and fail videos
  • 2 1
i got my bag within a couple of weeks of them contacting me, pretty good considering it's free!
  • 3 1
I got my bag relatively quickly from SS. Its not a very durable bag because it is supposed to be lightweight, and it doesn't hold stuff on the outside of the pack (which sucks because its pretty small), but at least it was free. Evoc, since you will be reading this probably, you should note that you need to make the material at the bottom of the main pocket much thicker or otherwise more durable, and you should put criss-crossing bungee cords on the outside of the pack to store jackets, as well developing a much better way to attach a full face helmet to limit its movement, and to keep it higher up on your back.
  • 4 0
also still waiting on my bag from last year aha
  • 5 0
Yeah I'm still waiting on my bag from June...
  • 3 0
Wow, shame on Pinkbike and EVOC........I think the majority of site users would rather purchase from a company and site that show better rider support than that, especially in a segment that EVOC pays to advertise in that take advantage of a situation that leaves some members being laid up for a while.

Alright, I won a sequence Saturday a bit over a year ago now, and after about 6 months of contacting PB, I finally decided to contact evoc themselves. They responded, redirected me to their Canadian distributor, and they had a bag shipped to me within 2 weeks. Hope this could help!
  • 1 0
Scott secco contacted me and gave me an email to contact someone at evoc. Things should be sorted fairly soon hopefully. Also good luck to the rest of you than never received bags!
  • 1 0
I'm still waiting for my bag as well Frown Sad to see I'm not alone
  • 169 3
These guys should be winning leatts not evoc bags
  • 54 2
 #6 definitely needed one
  • 30 2
im assuming #6 can no longer move??
  • 13 1
I bet his mama told him to be careful, hope his bike is ok.
  • 5 2
totally agree , his neck must be hurting soooo bad , buy a leatt
  • 36 0
I am actually worried about number 6....
  • 8 1
yeah me too! , his neck shouldn't be moving that far
  • 11 0
Would like to know the follow up on #6 - that looks life changing.
  • 25 0
He is perfectly fine. Walked away with just a sore neck.
  • 4 0
Haha good he is ok! he did a scorpion with just his head xD!
  • 4 1
 I was like 'oh f**k!' #6
  • 5 0
Oh man.... I'm glad he is ok... I thought for sure he had a broken neck! That was actually not funny to watch like the other ones!
  • 3 0
I thought six was pretty funny. Not to say it wasn't really rough but his helmet made it look worse than it was.
  • 2 0
 Well aaid
  • 56 2
I love the "fail of the month" series! These are the only videos that make me feel like a good rider that are posted here on pinkbike.
  • 2 0
I felt the same way until I pulled a #2 the other day... Not fun! Big Grin
  • 13 0
 sounds messy
  • 29 2
 The law is:
After waiting for about 10 seconds after a crash, regardless of the gnarliness of the crash you have to say "are you ok"
  • 24 0
No way #4 didn't break his collarbone..
  • 1 0
that one should be called Butt Hugger
  • 3 0
 Another Gspot
  • 4 0
can't break titanium! he already broke that collar bone about a year ago haha
  • 24 1
hope the penny #6 found was worth that faceplant
  • 19 0
#6 man, watching him come into that with no speed was agony to watch.
  • 1 0
@Clarkeh, I agree man... no speed and standing all the way up and not lunching it just rolling over.... and the take off ramp didn't even look big enough for me to think he could make that gap.... hmmmmm.... first need to learn how to jump before attacking big gaps like that! I'm glad at least he is ok and walked away from it!
  • 12 0
Whoever does an RKO for #6 will win the internets. I'll also give you a hug. Just look for my windowless van that says "Free Hugs" on the side.
  • 34 0
ask and you shall receive!!! www.pinkbike.com/video/388690
  • 3 0
but i'll pass on that hug tho...
  • 2 0
Baaaahahahaha! You sure? I've been told my hugs are exquisite.
  • 1 0
 Hahahahaha Awesome xD
  • 10 0
Is it just me or is there consistence between poorly built jumps that look like they are hastily constructed and fail videos. I'm thinking if more time is spent on the construction of the features, less time would be spent in pain. Just throwing that out there.
  • 6 0
That combined with a lack of entry speed in most cases, and usually their already sketchy coming into the jump, gotta know when to abort! Well that and how to jump your bike, not just ride it off a feature.
  • 6 0
RULE NUMBER 1 OF GUINEA PIGGING : SEND IT!

#6 is the worst offender here!
  • 9 0
their is nothing like that "oh shit" moment, after a jump when you are like well here it goes...im going down.
  • 7 0
Well I would be the poor bastard in video #6 a quick trip to the ER and I walked away with a hyper extended spine and some bruising. Lesson learned...More speed. Bike rolled away incident free
  • 5 1
Glad to see you can still function after that scorpion..You might want to consider getting a neck brace..You got lucky considering how bad you landed..
  • 5 0
Neck brace was purchased that week
  • 1 0
Better late than never. I own one now after spearing a landing on a drop with my head. I walked it off but ended up with s pretty serious concussion.
  • 1 0
Money well spent..Why did I get neg props?
  • 3 0
and instead of winnig bags since its fail of the month I beleive safety equipment should be given away common guys like hey u won fail of he month probably got injured so heres a backpack hahahah still cool to win something but perfect spot to promote safety
  • 4 0

What, no video of Sam Pilgrim hosting a bunch of Fail videos? Surely that was the biggest carnage this past month Wink
  • 3 1
 My fail on the month.
I hit a new trail yesterday on carrick mountain in Ireland and used a dip and bump in the road as a little take off but it sent me sideways into the ditches with ferns and a felled tree, got a hole in my arm now and can't work!!!! Stupid stupid stupid. Should have scouted/walked it first.
Lesson learned..
  • 2 0
#6 most definatly I hope hes okay but omg rofl happened to me few times last year wish I could get my fails on video bent a frame around a tree sure that would have got some views
  • 4 0
#5 - Victoria, Canada | One of the funniest fails I’ve seen on Pinkbike. Quite a few reasons behind it
  • 6 0
 #6...
  • 5 0
Saw #6's thumbnail, uh no thank you
  • 5 0
Number 5...only because of that first whip
  • 4 0
#6. I wonder what he broke and how much hospital time he spent....
  • 3 0
It appears "OH SH**" is the universal camera man expletive in any language when filming fail.
  • 4 0
#6 FTW. Butler, PA - where everything goes wrong.
  • 1 0
Just wanted to let you know that i received my bag 3 days after i knew i got fail of the month.

#1, might be time for some new bars...
  • 2 0
 haha yeah stop at 0:33
  • 3 0
I'd vote for 6 but that's the kind of crash that can land you in a wheelchair for life. Gotta go with 3.
  • 14 0
Why so cruel?? Even if bro dude is in a wheelchair for the rest of his life at least give him the satisfaction of winning fail of the month.
  • 2 0
 Good point. Smile
  • 1 0
I wonder if there is any guideline pinkbike have when choosing these. What is deemed to dangerous.

[Edit] Im not trying to plan one btw.
  • 5 0
 #6 for sure
  • 4 0
 #5 because trains derail sometimes....
  • 4 0

  • 4 0
 #6 for sure
  • 2 0
All of these were fantastic. The way he hugs the tree in #4 is too much haha
  • 2 0
#6 --- ever heard of pulling up on the bars when you take a jump? Whew... that front end dove down so fast.
  • 7 2
Like everything on a bike, jumping is through the hips and feet. your hands should just be chilling on the grips, prepping themselves for picking up a post ride pint.
  • 6 0
Im sick jumps, one week I'll be dialed and everything works. Next week Im casing and doing dead sailors. Not worth the risk of getting injured anymore, I'll rather pussy out and lie about how big went at the bar...
  • 1 0
MendelMu - sounds exactly like me. Except one day it was both good and bad on the same ride - then off to hospital with separated shoulder.
  • 3 0
#5 on pure comedy value, otherwise #6. absolutely brutal.
  • 2 0
It has to be number 6. Can't even watch that again, the noise he makes when he lands......
  • 3 0
 #5 is that Brett Rheeder?
  • 3 0
 # 4 was the best fail....but #5 was definitely the funniest
  • 3 0
 6 for sure
  • 2 2
Watched the fourth one and said to myself, "this one definitely wins. the slomo was awesome." I stand corrected. Someone get that guy a Leatt
  • 9 1
I hope it's not too late for #6 to pick one up. Holy hell.
  • 2 0
Yeah I felt the same way I was thinking nothing would top four then the guy tries to break his neck.
  • 2 0
I think these should be in opposite order...
  • 3 1
#6 looks like that actually really hurt I hope he's ok.
  • 2 0
