Grand Prize
Season Overall

At the end of the season the overall Fantasy Downhill Champion will get a Specialized Demo Race worth $7,000 USD in any size of your choosing.

All-out speed has always been the Demo’s target, and with the Demo Race it’s no different. Introducing a new flexible wheel-size frame design that allows riders to take advantage of a 29-inch front wheel and a 27.5-inch rear wheel, it’s a special blend that’s long been tested by World Champ Loic Bruni looking for the perfect balance of traction and maneuverability, but only just green-lighted by the UCI this past year. Not that it stopped the Demo Race from racking up both the Downhill World Championship and overall World Cup titles in its very first season... Learn more about the Specialized Demo Race here.

Round 1 Prize
Lourdes, France

Pick the best team for this round and you can walk away with a Specialized Ambush 2 helmet.

Be so bold in the all-new Ambush 2. Fully redesigned from the buckle up with essential features for next-gen trail riding, the Ambush 2 channels ample ventilation through modern styling, with a superb fit and dialed eyewear integration.

More info here. MSRP of $180 USD.

3-Day Blackout Period

In order to avoid players copying each other's teams, all rider selections will be hidden for 72 hours before each race. Start playing mind games with your friends that you know are shoulder-hopping your choices.

Unlimited Trades

You're allowed unlimited trades after each round. You can stick with what's working, or change your whole team out after every race.

Office Leagues

Employees at Pivot, Muc-Off and more are battling it out behind closed doors in their Office Leagues.

Offices can set up private leagues in addition to playing the main public league. Let the trash talk begin!

2022 Race Schedule:

March 26-27: Lourdes, France
May 21-22: Fort William, UK
June 10-12: Leogang, Austria
July 8-10: Lenzerheide
July 15-17: Vallnord, Andorra
July 29-31: Snowshoe, USA
August 5-7: Mont-Sainte-Anne, Canada
August 24–28: UCI Mountain Bike World Championships – Les Gets, France

Good luck!

Time to pick three riders I know the names of then spend the rest on riders have never heard of to cover the huge cost of my expense choices.

That is the only way I can win, my expensive 2 or 3 top picks win and the rando's (yes I know they are still world cup athletes) that cost 10 or 25K come through with ride of their lives. I think in this case French rando's who grew up riding there are the way to go.

I always wonder if thats the better strategy or picking more in the 100-200K range

@MikeyMT: Last year, every weekly winner had at least one man or woman who won their category and, except for one round, another rider who finished in the top two.

Spend most of your money on people who win.

@rustiegrizwold: I'll take that a step further - the ONLY guaranteed way to win is to... well... spend your money on people who will win.

I always wanted to haul down the trail with a goblin shark on my head...

They have to give it away because no one would buy it.

This deserves to be in comments of the year

 What a sh*thouse prize!!

That's gotta be the most hideous helmet I've ever seen. I'm no fashionista and don't really GAS, but there is a limit...

That helmet is truly fugly. It’s like a Yeezy for your dome.
  • 11 0
They must have had too many entries coming in... needed a reason for people not to enter
  • 10 0
...feeling Ambush'ed by this 1st round prize

Just confirmed round 2 prize is a roomba(ix).

Loved the old Ambush. This one looks like it fell out of the Ugly Tree and hit every branch on the way down.

and its not a DH helmet

My sense of style was just walking along and that thing jumped out from behind a bush and scared the sh1t out of it.

That helmet reminds me of Trump's "hair."
  • 14 0
Regardless of prizes me and some friends are throwing in terrible 6 packs each round and winner takes all. I’m more interested in winning lots of cheap beer than that helmet.
  • 17 1
The first time I don't want to win one of the fantasy league prizes. That is ugly

When did Kanye start designing helmets?
  • 13 1
 That is one fugly helmet.
  • 13 1
Can I withdraw my team in case I win?
  • 11 2
If I win I promise this comment section that I will publicly destroy that "thing" so that there will at least be one less in the world.
  • 13 2
That is the worst prize I've ever seen
  • 12 2
 Weird and lame prize
  • 6 1
 a trail lid................
for a DH comp.......?
  • 4 0
Perhaps the new Specialized helmets can win a prize for the Fugliest Helmet of the Year.
  • 6 2
Its great that you get a trail helmet as a price for DH "knowledge".
  • 4 0
Brendan Fairclough signed jersey up for grabs in our league! haha
  • 3 0
TRC one of only 4 ever made!
  • 2 1
Is it just me or is everyone really expensive to draft this season?

There’s enough budget to cover one A-grade rider and then you’re fishing from the D-Graders (no offence to the riders)
  • 1 1
Please PB, do a better job at updated the racers in the fantasy pool.
Injured riders not listed as injured, Troy??
And have more listed riders that are actually riding.
I get it, things change quickly but I heard, computers are pretty fast.

I would like to see Gwin win
  • 1 0
 A "Gwin" would be awesome
  • 9 0
Unfortunately, he won't be eligible to win the Specialized Demo.
  • 5 0
@Ocfug: Breaking scandal: Aaron Gwin found betting on his own races through Pinkbike fantasy DH, in hopes of scoring a Specialized Demo
  • 3 0
CAN WE PLEASE GET ALL RIDERS ON THE ENTRY LIST ON THE FANTASY LIST THANKS
  • 3 1
Nobody can afford this because the riders are too damn high!
  • 2 0
 "You Team"
  • 1 0
 No, you.
  • 1 2
Everyone said large mono-lens sunglasses were ugly too… now we all wear them. This helmet will be the beginning of the next trendy design.
  • 3 0
@dpars63 We're right back to Oakley Factory Pilot styling. LOL
As for it being the next trend I sure hope you're wrong.
I think I'm going to go grab another original Ambush just in case you're right.
  • 1 1
I got first and second right! none of the others though haha
