It's broken. My wife changed her picks after the last round and got the resulting points, I'ma try this is Vi Da Sole! Great hack!
  • 5 0
Yeah my son also changed picks after the race
  • 2 0
Happend to me too. Saw I can change the team already so I did thinking it was for the Val di Sole but got the points for Leogang...
  • 6 0
 Well that's....not good!
  • 4 0
It needs to get fixed and ppl need to get their original points. So I am going up in the league Wink ..
  • 4 0
This definitely needs to be addressed.
@brianpark , @edspratt - Any idea how this will be corrected?
  • 4 0
We are working with the dev team to investigate this. VDS will go as normal, but if we need to update anything we will let you know.
  • 2 0
@brianpark: Thanks Brian. I'm definitely up for offering up what my team was before the changes if anyone wants to put my scores back to where they should be.
  • 1 0
@cstone: No free points for you!

Is there no way to go back and look at what each player had their team set as before the race? As mentioned above after the race the editing was open for VDS and I did a quick edit based on the Leogang results. Somehow I got those points. My 144 points should have been 59 if my points were off the team I actually picked for the race. I’m sure some of the 15 people actually picked the perfect team but definitely not all of them.

If they can't go back and fix that, they'll have to take out the Leogang results.

^ suits me fine I did horrible haha.

If you guys complain enough PB Fantasy will completely go away again and then even less people will subscribe to watching UCI pay per view, resulting in smaller price money, riders having to find other employment and the only broadcasted DH racing being Crankworx. Just sayin'...
  • 1 0
So PB Fantasy is the only thing keeping the riders going and getting money? I don't think fantasy has that big of an influence on DH riding, this isn't the NFL. DH was doing pretty darn good before PB Fantasy was around, and I doubt anyone is paying to watch the races just for Fantasy, most people probably watched it for free somewhere.

I’m not what you would call “good” at this.
  • 8 0
How is the prize money for fantasy DH greater than the prize money for a UCI DH first place…..?
  • 2 0
Cuz thats all you get after 6 months of this but they have to give out money on a pretty much weekly basis to multiple rider's. Still shit tho. . .

I like my Canadians, but how is Gracey Hemstreet still worth $78k, while Bodhi Kuhn only $33k? Bodhi has consistently provided points, while Gracey still hasn't. I like Gracey, and I think she could develop into a great racer, but I just don't understand how she was valued as high as she was at the start of the season, and to a lesser extent now.

I would assume by the end it will just be one or two team variations as the pool keeps getting smaller
  • 4 1
That's basically what happened in previous Fantasy Leagues. After one or two rounds everyone figured out who the top rider combos were and converged on a few main team builds.

With this year's pricing though, at least in theory, you won't be able to stick with riders doing well for all that long. And a few great riders have come down dramatically in price after some mediocre races—it's worth looking into historical VDS results!

But yeah, we'll take stock after VDS to see if we need to make any adjustments to the system.
  • 3 1
@brianpark: don’t know the all the details. But an adjustment to the total budget cap on the rider pool. Would make everything maybe bit more dynamic..
  • 5 1
@brianpark: I think the improvement to the dynamic pricing would be that if your riders price changes your budget changes inline with that, so that if you pick a lower priced rider who does well your budget increases and likewise if a top rider has a mare your then forced to try and pick some cheaper riders who could then boost your budget back up. The glitch that enabled players to change their team after the race certainly need sorting as that totally ruins the whole game.

I don’t know why the league wasn’t set up similar to the premier fantasy league, where you start with your budget, pick your team. Then as rider values go up & down, so does your teams value, your team still remains the same. But its value decreases or increases, depending on the choices & risk you made at the start of the season. If you decide to sell a rider who you picked up cheap & their value increased, that’s the bonus for running the risk of choosing a roughy , same as if you picked top dog & their value drops. What is also ridiculous frustrating is the way the valuation of riders is going. Seems to me by the end of the season all top seeded riders will be $1m. Maybe after this season pinkbike should go joint another fantasy league & see how the systems actually works, rather than trying to reinvent the wheel.

I think it'd be sweet to have 2 team options per account. One where you get to choose on a weekly basis like it currently is, and one where you have a set team for the season. Pick your team and let them ride out the whole season locked in. Kind of like having your "Championship overall team" and your "weekly winning team".

I feel bad for Juan Munoz. He got added to everyone's team only to be immediately removed.
  • 4 0
 Smells fishy...
  • 2 0
 It’s pinkbike!
  • 1 0
Then due to rising inflation can i have more budget please , cost a fortune to run the team ha ha
  • 2 0
 I chose... poorly.
  • 1 0
19682 place, can you beat that?
  • 2 0
@everythingsucks: Haha... Currently at 5693. If you ain't first you're last!

Also, Ronan has a bad race and still at $1,000,000. It's rigged I tell ya!
  • 2 0
@iduckett: That's weird. I'm currently at 5693. What are the tie breaking rules again? Arm wrestle with a flat pedal between the hands?
  • 2 0
@Fill-Freakin: Indeed, they must be concave and must be TMACs.
