RETALLACK – a world leader in catskiing, heli-biking and professionally guided backcountry mountain biking has announced that it will be hosting the FEST Series August 18-23. The inaugural FEST Series is an athlete-driven series of freeride mountain biking events that feature custom built courses where professional athletes are invited to spend a week at each international location. The series format enables riders to session and choose when and how to best showcase their vision of freeride. Since there is no better judge than the rider themselves, after the week’s final session, the athletes award: Best Line, Best Style, Best Whip, and Banger of the Week (which could be anything from a trick to a transfer).

The Hoff Fest at Retallack will be featuring the following professional freeride athletes: Kurt Sorge; Andreu Lacondeguy; Graham Aggasiz; Nicola Pescetto; Kyle Jameson; Garett Buehler; Jordie Lunn; Ryan Howard; Geoff Gulevich; James Doerfling; Nico Vink; Alex Pro; Robbie Bourdon; Jeff Herbertzen; Kyle Strait; Alex Volokov.

Hosted by Red Bull Rampage Champion and Nelson local Kurt Sorge, the Hoff Fest at Retallack event will take place on a custom built course by Kurt and will be professionally filmed by world-acclaimed Freeride Entertainment and Solos Productions. Official highlight videos featuring the best sessions of the week will be distributed via the Internet. On Saturday August 23, the final session will be open to the public to celebrate the week. For public safety reasons the Stenson Forest Service Road will be under restricted access on August 23, however, a shuttle service will be provided for members of the public wishing to travel to and from the event site. The shuttle service will be available for a nominal fee of $10 and will start at the Stenson FSR bridge off of Highway 31 A. Free parking will also be available at Retallack Lodge and the old Retallack Townsite.

It's a multi day jam session on a Mountain in the middle of nowhere. I think a video recap will be pretty sweet.
