Live Stage Updates:Stage Map
Richie Rude takes the win on his first EWS stage of the year after serving his suspension and reigning champion Sam Hill would sit nearly seven seconds back in 2nd place. It's great to see Hill back at the top of the results sheet after disappointing results at the first three rounds of the series. Ed Masters would continue to show his strong form with a great third place finish only seven and a half seconds off the leader. Adrien Dailly would, unfortunately, have issues with his chain and would have to give up any hopes of a good result on the first stage of the day. Jesse Melamed is out of the race, he was pushing hard on the first stage and has injured his hand at some point on his way down. In the Elite Women current series leader, Isabeau Courdurier would pilot her new 29er to victory with a lead of over 13 seconds on Noga Korem. Sitting just behind Korem would be ALN but around 40 seconds separate the top 10 women so it is all still to play for. With the hot temperatures, riders will be glad that this weekends racing is mostly lift assisted. ResultsElite Women:1st.
