Trek ,,,no thanks... the Mafia of the biker (dealer) world... they force dealers into inventory they don't want, then if they can't meet terms or keep up with the payments because products they brought in aren't selling or they don't sell enough Trek branded stuff in general.. they force the dealer out of business because eventually, all they want to do is have TREK-only stores or internet, nothing else. Happened to a local store near me and another Trek dealer near me has been for sale for about 2 years, they want out...

I ran into a micro version of this with Iron Horse and K2 Bikes.. both companies extended a bunch of credit with really long terms (Net 180 with K2) so, like a dummy, I "bought" way too much. I sold a fair amount of that inventory but, had a bunch left over, eventually selling it off below cost just to get rid of it. bottom line, taking a loss on that much inventory means you made next to nothing in profit selling their brand.

@piperalbrecht The achievement of sitting in the hot seat since round one should not be underestimated. Congratulations Piper, enjoy your new ride. Beer

Pretty nervous being at the top the whole time to be honest! Although it was good to know that I had bit of a cushion of a lead...

Bike goes to a user with a zero activity profile. Sounds just like another Christmas Advent contest to me.

If it's who I suspect it is then it's going to a good home, www.rockyriders.com/news/2019/piper-heading-to-world-mtb-championships
