Go Annie last...was about time bearing in mind a tough few years. Up yours British Cycling as well who have just cut funding for MTBing in the UK........

Absolutely!! Yet they'll milk the result for all they're worth.....same with the Junior CX Worlds in Jan.....

There is more to cycling than road & track.....shame they're unaware of this...

What's in a name. The U23 world champ CX is Annemarie Worst. She actually competed in the first few rounds of the XC WC too and there were more than enough racers worse than her. Yeah, Gunn Rita is a legend!

Women's race was fantastic. A great result for Annie. Gunn-Rita is a real inspiration. My missus is returning to MTB after a year off to have a baby. It's no joke, and doing it at that level is mind blowing.

U23 women have only 1 start loop and 4 normal loops while the elite women have 1 start loop and 5 normal loops

Bring out the spades (bell ring), bring out the spades. First, they do a "course" preview worthy of a long sleep, then there's the pits "action" - nonone there, then a "photo" thingo - yawn. Just stop posting it: it's rubbish. Le Tour is on - that's cycling - XC is rubbish and it's wrecking the sport - sub category for XC, ????
