Yet you’re allowed 70,000 people maskless in a football stadium.
Fcuking joke!
Go look at Tokyo if you want more f*cked up, just declared a state of emergency but they olympics are still going ahead
Nah they were told let the FIFA OFFICIALS in. No quarantine, no fuss...... Money talks.
Honestly get a grip mountain biking is a small sport where it’s hard to get anybody to do anything as there’s no chance of them making money for themselves.
It's the British Leyland of football anthems.
OK The British Leyland reference was a bit cruel but as a scotsman I know all too well the dangers of hubris when it comes to invention.
And why does soccer get to have 3 names now? football, futbol & soccer?
On a lighter note, this may be the best event of the year!

(I obviously wanna se him there, fingers crossed!)
Really gutted that Gee is out of action and I wish the welsh Gov would f*cking do one and let fans come watch! Its cool for 90,000 football fan pack a stadium or 12,000 posh t*ats to go to horse races but its not ok for 1,000 DH fans be spread out along a track outside!
Ahh well - hopefully redbull will have plenty of cameras to pick up all the action!
But yeah, the other Matt has the better surname.
Tricky one - Obviously there are politics at play in football and I'm sure there are things going on behind the scenes that we'll never know about. Shame. 70k in one place I'm sure cases are going to go up - Sucks!
Complete opposite for Hardline - I think that's very unfair, given it's more outdoors than a stadium. Numbers are obviously much much lower still than football/rugby events and even festivals!
Anyway, polite rant over. It'll be on TV and hopefully we can look forward to going to Fort Bill next year!
- Its always interesting when men who are not involved in putting on events respond like this. Like how do you know? There are countless events women have been asking to be apart of for years and they are denied. Dont assume if you dont know how these things get organized.
Can‘t imagine a hardline without him
For some reason I have a feeling he might just do it!
but.... Saturday looks like lots of rain in Wales = carnage or a good few call offs.
Would be good to see the fast Frenchies etc race probably the gnarliest and hardest track out there, find out who is the best big boy track rider in the world. (I heard stories of some of the worlds best saying they wouldn't do the drop).
1.50 to 3.20
Fair play to him doing it on his enduro bike plus a Dh fork.
It's just mental though!
Do we think the relative lack of freeriders on this just reflects that Dan is creating something for the DH scene?
That will be interesting, I’m sure he’ll do pretty well.

What the hell is your problem?
He didn’t take someone’s spot man. There are always a bunch of pros hanging at hardline that ride and don’t race. If anything Matt has a big enough following to introduce a few people to hardline. (Prob why he was invited)
