October has been a rough month for the bike industry we love with several tragic accidents, and now with the injury of Colombian legend, Patricio Escobar.
On Saturday 12th October Patricio Escobar was out on a mountain bike training ride with friends when a nasty crash sent him onto the ground breaking his C3 and C4 vertebrae.
He was rushed to hospital in Bogota where he has had to wait for swelling to reside before surgery to fuse his C3, C4 and C5 vertebrae to stabilize the area. At this stage he has yet to have feeling in his arms and legs, the details on the long term prognosis are minimal but with an injury of this severity it is a long and slow road to recovery.
Please donate to help get Patricio back doing what he loves. Patricio is a 15x national trials champion, The 2017 masters enduro champion and an all round great guy.
The aim of this fundraiser to help Patricio, his family and children adapting to the challenges they will face in the upcoming months.
