 Marin county....a double edge sword of rich liberal hippies who hate mountain bikers...yet this is suppose to be the birth place of mountain biking! I'm going to subway with my 5 bucks...foot long here I come...nom...nom.

 So you want my $$ to "steward" trails we don't have, or have NOT been permitted to build?

 exactly what i'm wondering. Im happy to support but not without a clear description of what is being done.

 @Mtb4joe : Yeah not too excited about some flat, smooth, wheelchair accessible multi-use trails. That is the kind of stuff that gets built with these funds.

 @thepwnstar39:

Yeah, MCBC does more harm than good. All they do is build flow garbage for kids on striders.

 I didn't know there were any legal trails in Marin!

 Although not a Mt Bike "destination" Marin holds some of the gnarliest, most fun, backcountry tracks in the state. I left a few years ago and miss many of those trails. If you can get past the chance of a ticket and hikers who want to kill you, it's a pretty damn awesome place to ride bikes, without the bike tourism problem some people see. You literally have everything to yourself. Just look at the pedigree of riders its produced lately.. Marco Osborne, Weir, Ben Cruz, Matt Koen, Kate Courtney.. But yeah they arent getting any $$ from me...

 Not much of a trail system for down country bikes in Marin.

 Gotta pay for the maintenance upkeep on the Dias Ridge trail. All those long off-camber sections, diagonal water bars every 150 feet, pinch points, and disintegrating switchbacks need love. Seriously though, at least they are trying.
