Lousã, the Mecca of downhill in Portugal, saw a young boy growing up with a special talent when it comes to riding bikes. Gonçalo Bandeira with just 14 years old not only stands out from his competitors, he also can compete with both junior and elite classes.

Raised in a family with a history in motorsports, more specifically enduro, and also in downhill racing, Gonçalo wants to keep that legacy alive in his family. This young fellow made his mark this year by accomplishing the national champion titles of both downhill and enduro. He might be the future.

This video shows his personality, who he is and the power and will he has to make the most of his bike, it's incredible.

 @therealtylerdurden: u might be right, it's been one of those weeks... but I've seen first hand the pampering of some of these young guns. And I do hate it! In my opinion, it's what separates DH from Moto. I grew up on dirt bikes and transitioned to the mountain life as an adult... in Moto racing soooo many kids come from wealthy families, and for the most part, are the ones who progress and succeed easier due to the financial status and family backing... it's not wrong, I just prefer to cheer for the guy/gal who came from the bottom, worked hard and never expected a thing from anyone

 @geerumm: f*ck yeah. Alright, I totally agree there. I bought my first moto by busting my ass landscaping for neighbors. I had business cards printed up and everything. Even a garden cart fill with tools that I towed behind my Huffy lol.

 @geerumm: he is an humble kid who shreds , his sisters also race DH , has the luck to live in one of the best places in the country to ride( fox even does the pre season testing there for europe) , and rides with the best in the country, that's why he shreds, the things you are complaining are just for the video like a joke...

 very bad example for people on therapy or casts, I knew a kid he took his cast off and now his arm has like a curve

 Lol. His arm was healed a few weeks prior to this. The cutting the cast is just for show in the video.

 Dope riding, but this is the first edit in years where I have to call out the music. Doesn't really match it, and it's impossible to listen to it without thinking about Days of My Youth.

 What's wrong with the tunes...? I'm tired of all this new, slo rap techno shit that is in all the videos. The faster, the harder the better. Put on some White Zombie and shred.
