"Videos must be in MP4 format in HD or Higher Resolution (720p, 1080p, 1440, 2.5k, 4k) with no watermarks"
Am I going to have to sell all my widescreens for some sweet 4:3 crts?
But where in the setup menu can you choose 4:3? I've got a Session5 maybe that's why I can't find it? That or ignorance. Is the setting employed post-shooting?
I saw a video that said "Oh, just film your bike videos in 4:3 & then crop out the top or bottom you don't need. It didn't mention that GoPro did away with their Studio software and gutted it to this Quik crap, which will ONLY make 60 second videos, has NO editing options at all on my Windows 10 computer or ability to crop anything. So all I get is the 2.7K 4:3 video.
So if you shoot in 4:3, you'll have to find an editing software to chop off the top or bottom to have 16:9. I just downloaded one of the higher rated "freebie" softwares, but I've not tried to jump in and learn it because life calls. I need a "How to immediately look cooler with GoPro" crash course.
The GopPro Con-Fusion app sucks.
you should never use camera soft to edit clips anyway
adobe premier >all
Adobe Premier eh? Free?

true GoPro dosnt take the full 600, but not my point.
The retailer make $600, not GoPro.
GoPro then need to cover costs to make, pack and distribute the camera.
Profit then pays for R&D, customer service, branding etc. before you have some left to give in competition prizes.

You should always be sceptical of figures given mostly as percentage or "growth".
Percentage figures mean anything and usually nothing.
For example you can show "growth" simply my changing margins
