BikePark Wales is excited to announce that GoPro will be joining as the parks’ official camera partner. BikePark Wales and GoPro will be joining forces to offer free camera rental for customers, set up advice and to create top level content from the UK’s biggest bike park. We’re really excited to have GoPro come on board. Let’s be honest GoPro need no introduction! As the world’s most versatile and iconic camera, they are used and loved by so many of us.

Our partnership will focus on developing awesome content. After all, “GoPro is all about capturing, sharing and reliving great experiences. This partnership is a perfect fit, not only for us and BikePark Wales - but above all for riders who get the opportunity to shred down the park’s amazing trails while testing our products and creating engaging photos and videos,” says Filip Good, Senior Director of Marketing EMEA at GoPro

We’ll be offering a free rental program for customers to come and try a GoPro for the day. Along with the free rental, there will be helpful setup tips displayed throughout the park to make sure your GoPro is perfectly set up to best capture your day. Our shop will also have all of the latest cameras and accessories in stock to make sure you have everything you need.

Welcome to the team GoPro and let the good times roll!

Free? Mountain biking? Something free?????! Nope don't get it.

They'll probably charge you if you want access to anything on the SD card at the end of the day

@DC1988: special GoPro with a unique memory card that costs £59 an hour to rent.

BPW have the worst customer service ever. I blew up my fork and asked in the afternoon if they had any rental bikes and they said maybe come back next day so I did and they said "we told you yesterday you can't have a bike" thought they were very rude... Wouldn't even try to fix my 36 for me!! And they're meant to be fox specialists

BPWs are not helpful at all I put a letter of complaint in and they never ever responded to it. Great riding but shame about their after service

So will BPW become like Foxhunt, where you aren't allowed to record it with any other brand of camera?

Ha what?! You can't use anything other than a gopro?!

You're allowed to record the foxhunt on anything you want. But to get footage into the event video it has to be on a gopro, more than likely to keep footage quality, aspect and colour the same

After my next visit to bpw, I will be selling gopros for the same price as an onocam.

I'm sorry there's no way this is totally free, what do you have to leave as deposit? Car keys and a credit card I bet. And I bet you pay about £500 to replace one if its lost or broken.

You lot are so cynical ! Maybe they are free to try , and figure they'll sell some IF you like there product . Good idea , they should do bike tryout days too !

BPW is great, but the whole rental side is way over priced. Can't believe they charged my buddy for the cost of an inner tube due to a puncture.

wow surprised gopro can afford this after having to lay a bunch of staff off, and their dwindling market share.

I can just picture myself giving this a try
