After a one year break, the Greenhouse Event returns for its third edition. On Friday 9th and Saturday 10th January 2015, Ostermundigen near Berne will evolve into a pumptrack and bike sports Mecca. The creator of the Greenhouse event, Adrian Kiener, himself an active racer, is setting his sights high and is looking forward to impressing the spectators and athletes by something unusual. "
We are going to ride in a greenhouse, which my grandfather built 80 years ago"
The third edition of the event boasts a race track and an event area double the size in comparison to the year before. The race course leads over flower beds, a compost heap and through greenhouses, which will be temporarily linked by tent structures. The track, the heart of our event is freshly built every year especially for this race.
The cream of the crop kicks offStars of the mountain bike scene have been invited by Kiener. The roster features athletes from all mountain bike disciplines. For the first time in 2015, amateur racers can apply to register for the first time. About 30 athletes will battle for the 16 spots available for the finals. You can find further information about registration on the website:
