 Cojones.

All I could think was "don't do it". How do you still have ankles, what are those rims and how big a hole did you make in the ground?

 When you ride HT your ankles are relatively fine. Better than bottoming a DH bike. Don't ask me why. It just feels like bottom out on a fully takes you by surprise. I did an unintentional landing to flat by overjumoing a dirt jump this year. Fell from at least 2m to hard packed dried ground. At max 45 deg angle. Didn't feel much in ankles. Later this year, on fully, mismatched loading successive natural rollers. Second one sent me flying to flat from what seemed like a lower height. Higher speed, landing angle much shallower. Ankle is still hurting a bit.

 @BenPea: 2,5m to flat on ht - no ankle pain. 1,5m to flat at speed on 160 fully - serious ankle pain.

 @WAKIdesigns: did you isolate all other variables and did any of it happen in a dream?

 @WAKIdesigns: I didn't know you could do a 7.5 f drop to flat at no speed. If you can do that than I'm surprised that a 3 footish jump at speed on your 160mm is causing you pain maybe work on that.

 Pure greatness. Not sure what it is but a great hard tail video is so fucking epic these days. Probably because they are increasingly rare. A good hardtail is so damn real.
