@JP199: Only saw the vid just now, but we thought the same thing Razz

Its like he hates brakes because he barely uses them. xD
  • 2 1
 Wet n steep....his favorite

I rode Morzine in almost the exact same conditions on the weekend of July 11. It was insanely muddy. At 2:11 that line that he airs into, is insanely steep. My friend and I rode it and the speed you have going into the left turn at the bottom, you are so out of control. Just the idea to air into that is crazy.

We rode that trail for most of 2 days, and I can't get my head around the speed that he carries thru some of those sections..

When Danny was a little kid his dad told him that mud was tarmac, there is no other explanation. Cheers

I have just been out there in and for the first week it rained so much, The speed he has is incredible and you dont really get a sense of how rough and cut up the trails get in the wet - but atleast he stayed on his bike
  • 2 0
That is exactly what I thought man!! The braking bumps down there were terrible as well.
  • 21 0
f*ck me backwards!!! I thought this trail was mental in the dry when rode it ... But that was something and how the hell did he land that hop in on the steep bit before the road cos that is 10 times steeper than it looks?! Good on ya Danny!!
  • 6 0
 Witchcraft. That's the only explanation.
  • 13 0
I could do that...... 98% slower and with some slideouts and a few crashes.

danny is rad in the rain. much respect. Salute
  • 13 0
Just further proof that Danny rides best in the wet
  • 12 0
its one of lifes greatest unanswered questions: how does danny stay on his bike?
  • 13 0
 No Gloves !!!
  • 5 0
yeah i found them lying near the top of the track, must have tore off his hands cuz he was going that fast
  • 10 0
For those that haven't ridden the secret track he takes at the bottom, it's ridic steep. Mental speed through there!

Think that's "Pedro's Trail." At least that's whereabouts Pedro was describing it as being, weather was so rubbish when we were out there a fortnight ago that we never took the time to locate it, one for next year.

Love Danny's jump into 10%, absolute nuts speed and seriously steep, and way, way more gradient than the name ironically suggests, a real brake dragger.

Yeh man I was there at the same time, in fact I'm pretty sure I saw Danny doing this run haha. It was silly wet, and he wasn't even running spikes haha. The 10% bit is what amazed me most from this run! Although it was running smoother than usual that week due to the rain...

No way, can't believe he was on Magic Mary's! Guess it was so wet (and he's so fast) they were clearing ok, I had to swap out the Magic on the front, for a Dan. Some of our gang saw him too, and were chatting him up in Opera! Needles is a cool dude, and Jack Moir was in our chalet, quite a few other pros out and about too, Joe Smith for one. Cool story, I know!! Big Grin
  • 2 0
Sounds like I was in Opera with you then Wink haha
  • 6 0
Looks steep on the GoPro so it's gotta be vertical in person.
  • 7 0
Well, ladies and gentleman, i think it's time for us, to stop pinkbike, and take our bikes, we have a lot to work on apparently...
  • 6 1
here is morzine right now, that run is mentally muddy, slippy and intense. feels like riding on custard the whole way down. Videos like this make you realise where your riding rates on the scale.....low!
  • 4 0
I love how amazingly fluid he is in the nastiest conditions. If every race was ravaged by Mother Nature I think Danny would have more than one world championship!
  • 7 1
Remind anyone of a race... Perhaps back in 2011
  • 4 0
 How does he keep traction?
  • 2 2
 well, that s steep...
  • 24 0
His massive balls give him plenty of downforce
  • 2 0
Cool vid,I think Plenny is far more fun in the wet, hate riding it in the dry, fun to get the spikes on at ride some muddy ruts
  • 1 0
We were out there at the same time ( ^^^ 10-14 July) and it was proper muddy and slippery as there was well over 1-2 inches of rain every day... how he manages to ride like that in those conditions is simply insane...
  • 4 0
thats like at least twice as fast as i could ride that in the dry!
  • 1 1
There is a difference between the way Danny rides a bike and myself! That being I can't even come close to his talent. This really shows the difference between these (pro) riders and the normal rider. These guys and gals are great!
  • 1 1
Have not ridden that since monday/tuesday but then it also was squishy as hell, and yes the steep that mtnryder56 mentioned... Would be rolling down the mountain if i tried to jump into it like that :S
  • 4 0
 DANNY! Stay on ya bike!!
  • 4 0
Nigel Page, is that you ? : D

thought he was off when he first went in woods , one word amazing
  • 1 1
the way he can ride through the sludge, and the speed he carries ... awesome! also the track looks great at the top, covered in fog.
  • 1 1
It's easy to see why Danny is so good in the mud. He rides it like its dry! Guy turns into a beast when the rain drops start falling. Sick edit.
  • 2 0
How the fuck at 2.44 he gets on that high line!!!!
  • 2 0
At 1:00 its a amazing how he just snakes through the tree's!
  • 2 0
 when was this?
  • 1 0
that's nuts!!!! he has big balls and tons of skills!! Props Danny!
  • 1 0
Anyone know when this was filmed?
  • 1 1
That is INSANE!! this Track is insanity when muddy! I've never seen that track so fast!!
  • 1 1
Aside from the rain drops, that is an awesome advert for that front mud guard lol!!!
  • 1 1
How quiet is that bike?how smooth is Danny? That was amazing, I'm in awe of him Smile
  • 1 0
It's like he understands the mud
  • 1 0
Magic Mary's are amazing tyres, but he has to on the dirty dans here!
  • 2 2
Guess I can say something a lot of people can't.....we both rock Allsport Dynamics custom wrist braces.
  • 1 0
No more excuses for being slow!
  • 1 0
Is this why Dan is Dirty?
  • 1 0
So muddy. How do you stay on your bike??
  • 1 1
While watching this I kept asking myself, HOW? MInd boggling speed for that conditions.
  • 1 1
Is this accelerated in places, or is it me on pot? This one of the sickest rides, I've seen...

Very good wet weather riding. Flowing in the mud.

Danny Hart is the equivalent of Ayrton Senna in wet conditions.
