There is a guy in the background of the second picture who is either doing a sweet nose manual or is about to be hating opening day.

 He's doing a front flip!

I did the same thing on the set of jumps before these. Thougt it was a large roller only to find out its a boulder jump with no back side!
  • 3 1
lets hope it was a sweet ass nose manual but its probably a big ol indo XD

Sorry to all those who missed out today, everyone thought it was going to be a rainy sh*t show, but it was epic. A bit muddy but no lift lines at all.
  • 2 0
Don't even tell me that. I had to be at work - and my only consolation was thinking "well, at least the lift lines are probably awful". Hoping for the same this weekend.

Best park in the world. Will try to make the trek from Ontario more than once this season

Moved to Japan last November and just rode Fujimi Panorama and the runs were close to 30 minutes long. HUGE mountain for me! With that being said, what mountain did I talk about the whole weekend, Highland of course. Camped here in Japan and it made me feel like the old Claymore weekends, but just wasn't the same!!!! Coming home in June and one of my first trips will be to NH for some Highland! Can't wait!!!!!!

  • 1 0

  • 2 0

  • 3 1
hell yeah i already have my gear all lined up and ready to go!
  • 3 3
How far is Highland from Windham? Might be going up to NY for the race this year... would love to make a long weekend out of it.
  • 2 1
 Probably 4 to 5 hours...
  • 2 1
Yeah it would take you about 5 hours.
  • 1 1
Having been there from the west coast it's worth the trip! I was working 72 hours a week on night shift and would take off straight from work make the 2.5 hour drive from Portland mob the trails for the day then drive back and go to work again.
  • 5 2
 google maps.
  • 2 1
Sitting here wishing I was still on the East Coast. Have a blast out there fellas!
  • 2 0
just blew up my Shock, great timing.
  • 5 4
Easily some of the best lift accessible trails on the east coast.
  • 9 2
Best groomed runs on the East Coast. No Contest. That said, Mtn Creek has a better lift and mix of trails, Platty and whiteface probably have the best tech terrain on the EC.
  • 5 5
Hence "Easily SOME of the best lift accessible trails on the east coast."
  • 11 5
you guys dont need to even say "east coast", those are some of the best trails in North America. The Creek and Platty also kick butt, but highland rules the roost for Apres-Ride, family feel, and stoke levels for sure!
  • 4 3
I find it funny that people who live within an hour drive of Mountain Creek would rather drive 6 hours to ride Highland. Highland's got the best trails in the country, never mind the EC. You go to MC and Platty to race, you go to Highland to ride.
  • 5 7
Lol. Obviously you've never ridden angelfire. For that matter, I'd rather ride trestle or keystone over highland. Still fun trails but no comparison. Haven't ridden mtn creek so I can't say but always heard highland was better.
  • 3 3
Ryan, Drove down to check MTN creek out and they have one sick trail that rivals highland. Kind of a cross between Hellion and Cats Paw. Stop by to check out the trail which is to the right off the lift. Ask for the one with the most wooden forms and they will direct you. Cant remember the name but it was worth the drive from RI. Highland is a fun mountain for sure.
  • 4 2
@ryan12210 Obviously you haven't ridden the new NE Style and Cat's Paw.
  • 3 1
Amen to that !! Some of the best in north America!!
