Ride with the Pros and Raise Funds at Highland Closing Weekend

S'Ender Weekender, November 12th - 13th

Seems crazy to think it’s already that time of the year again. It has been another memorable year, but as they say all good things must come to and end - luckily just until next spring! In classic Highland fashion we’d like to invite everyone out to enjoy some last laps and celebrate the season end with our #highlandfamily. There will be some fun rides going on throughout the weekend with 100% of the entry fees going to Wings for Life, spinal cord research foundation.

Highland Mountain s Closing Weekend Fundraiser and Clif Bar Ride with the Pro s

Join CLIF athlete Eric Porter Saturday, November 12th for a day of kids rides, party laps and rad giveaways from his sponsors - Diamondback Bikes and POC Sports. Rides are FREE with Highland Mountain lift pass.

CLIF Bar & Company will be giving away (20) POC youth helmets and running contests all day for a chance to win (1) Diamonback Sync'r Pro and (1) Diamondback Sync'r 24

Saturday's Events
Starting at 11am try and win a 2017 Highland Season Pass with the fastest pixie bike lap around our ride zone. $5 a lap, buy as many as you need to win, all sales go right to Wings for Life, spinal cord research foundation.

If pixie bike racing isn't your thing, sign up in the lodge for the Not So Super D Race/Ride down Freedom Trail kicking off at 1pm. This unique format of Le Mans mass start by category is sure to be a fun time. Klunkers and any other two wheeled bicycles are welcome. Click to Register

The fun doesn't stop when the chairlift closes, if you are 21+ stay and raise a glass to a great season. Live music from the Monte Selby Band, 6pm - 10pm.

Sunday's Events
Sudden Death S'Ender Slalom, register in Highland lodge, race kicks off at 1pm.

Driving out from Pittsburgh, PA and I could not be more excited! Might have to stop by thunder mtn for a day too...never ridden there!

What exactly is the Sudden Death S'Ender Slalom? Name sounds rad, but there doesn't seem to be any additional info on Highland's website.

head to head race on the dual slalom course. First one across the line wins. No timing. At least that's what I think. I can tell you there will be heckling and lots of laughs.
