Luca Cometti is an up and coming American riding for the Intense Factory team. Raised in the suburbs of San Diego, he lives the typical Californian lifestyle, surfing, riding and moto. Along with fellow local junior rider Nik Nesteroff, the two San Diegans will be looking forward to a good year on the World Cup circuit alongside more experienced World Cup riders Jack Moir and Dean Lucas. In Episode 9 of our web series, Luca takes us on a tour of his local trails in his "Home to Roost”!

Juice Lubes is proud to support the Intense Cycles Factory Racing team in 2016.

I wish I was sponsored so I could not be bothered to shuttle a $10k bike and just leave it trailside to drive a Miata home. It's just not fair...

how many bikes can a sponsored rider go trough in a year? is there a limit? do they give you one of each for the year and that's it? how about forks and things like that? do they call the company and ask for things and they just send it to them?

san diego looks like a pretty awful place to live

Seeing as how they have now shut down more than half of our riding spots lately it has kinda turned into a shit spot to ride. Weather is beautiful, riding is mainly fireroads and bandit trails.
