The Idaho Enduro Series has combined forces with the Pocatello Pedal Fest to bring enduro racers something brand spankin' new for 2017.

The Pocatello Pedal Fest Enduro will plunge racers into some of the best mountain biking that Southeastern Idaho has to offer on June 11, 2017. Racers will test their mettle as they are faced with lengthy stages over 10 minutes in duration, 24 total miles on the bike, 3500ft of climbing, and a massive 4800ft of descending. The Pocatello Pedal Fest Enduro will be a HUGE adventure on the bike.

Beginner/Junior riders will race a slightly modified but equally awesome course. Those brave souls who choose to take on this epic challenge will be met with glory and bragging rights as the Pocatello Pedal Fest will be a true "East Vs. West" showdown. Do you have what it takes?

Course Descriptions:

Stage 1 - Upper Valve House - A 15 minute climb from Scout Mountain campground takes you to the start of stage 1. To begin, drop from the East Fork Mink Creek into a wide open, kamikaze downhill on an old two track. Get on the pedals and stay off the brakes! Ruts, stream crossings, and plenty of room to work with should get the early morning blood flowing. Stage 1 will end just before a short climb. Transfer up a quick, steep pitch and get ready for Stage 2.

Stage 2 - Windago - After a 5 minute transfer, Stage 2 will take off down the tight, twisty singletrack of Windago. Navigate the big rut at the top, stay out of the creek, and rail the countless natural berms through the pine trees. Towards the bottom, get back on those pedals and pump your way through the moto whoops to the finish.

Stage 3 - After a longer transfer up Crystal Summit Road, get ready for the fastest stage of the day. One of Pocatello’s most popular downhill’s, Corral Creek is the perfect mix of rocks, roots, tight berms, and wide open sections. Advice? 5 minutes of full gas, no brakes... full enduro.

Stage 4 - After another good transfer up West Fork, arrive at the pink gate leading into Gibson Jack. This will be the longest stage of the day with roughly 10 minutes of non stop action. Thanks to local volunteers and BLM fire crews, the brush has been cut back and sight lines opened up. Gibson is ready for a thrashing! Stage 4 starts off through a twisty meadow, flows in and out of the trees through relentlessly rocky, often exposed, off camber sections, and finishes with an all out sprint to the expo area (and the beer). Watch for several sneaky corners in the middle of the stage. Pedaling will once again be a necessary evil. Watch out for the pesky pedal strikers hiding in the tall grass…
