There's no shortage of lines at the 2021 Leogang World Cup DH track and Ben Cathro is back to break them all down.

Love the Cathro breakdown, but would sincerely loved to have seen Ben make that Privateer run at the World Cups in 2021. I get it...new baby, life moves on. Rock on !!!
Agreed - footage from this race seems worse than usual for riders just stopping on track.
There needs to be a firm rule to get under the tapes if you stop (unless you crash obviously) - just sitting there checking out lines is only going to see someone hurt.
Went to the comments to see if this was written. There should definitely be some rules about being behind the tapes if you're not riding. If that rider were me I would probably be so pissed.
Gosh we have come a long way since reading about work cups in the local magazine summary articles to bumbling my way through freecaster streams. Loving this content!
That was awesome,it would be cool to see this in some other areas too like at the start to see whos getting the holeshot and who’s getting dusted.seems like there’s a lot to learn from this sort of video Thanks Ben
The overlay is easy enough but how can the panning be done? Is that a crop of a larger framed video? Or is it some sort of software controlled hardware?
@JT-helsinki: Pretty sure it's a crop of a large frame. The difference is now they got some serious cameras, but in the old videos the image was quite pixel-y
@JT-helsinki: if you watch it in 4K I think you can see that the resolution of the ghostings is less, so most probably it's filmed in 4K and with a programmed zoom laid on top.
What a brillant idea. One day line choice challenge with Cathro at pb academy. C'mon pb fly him over to bc next time. I'm sure he'd love some sea to sky riding.
Great line analysis with the ghosting.

Thanks Ben
Does anyone know what type of software and hardware setup can help create the video overlay “ghost” comparison?
