Team Aston Hill.Aston Hill as a venue needs no introductions these days, and if you're a regular to the UK downhill circuit you will no doubt have heard of Team Aston Hill.
This year's team line up sees a mixture of new and old home-grown talent. This year looks to be an exciting one with Meghan dominating almost every race she entered last year, and looking to only improve. Alfie suffered an injury last year and is just looking to enjoy the race season, and get back up to speed. Josh in the juniors is also looking to have another solid season, with ambitions of being within the top 10 of the BDS and top 5 at Pearce overall. Ellen, the newest member of the squad who's racing in the youth female category is aiming for as many top three finishes at the BDS. And finally but not least, Joe, the team manager gets to enjoy the category of Vets. His goals for this year are to be in the top 12 at the BDS.
Running a small team like Aston Hill has its challenges. It's because of the hard work that people like Joe put into working with sponsors and the up-and-coming youth of today, that we have such a strong UK presence on the world downhill scene. Of course, all this wouldn't be possible without the sponsors of Team Aston Hill, and we'd like to thank them for showing their support.

Expectations for this coming year; This season I am aiming to get as many BDS top 3s as I can and of course, I'd love to do well at National Champs.
Favourite thing to do during my downtime; I like to paint and draw when I'm not riding but I love to get stuck into a good book every once in a while. Saying that - biking will always win out and if I'm not downhilling, you'll usually find me on the enduro bike or at the pumptrack.
Favourite Downhill track/location; I really like Gawton for some technical riding but my favourite race track has to be Moelfre - I can't explain why but we just clicked.
Favourite ice cream; There's no two ways about it - it has to be mint choc chip.
