Jackson Goldstone is back with the third episode of his Bike School. The weather doesn’t always play along, and sunny days can turn into mud-fests in a matter of moments, catching riders off-guard. However, that’s not a reason to put the bike away. Jackson Goldstone shares valuable tips and tricks on how to ride trails when they’re wet and how you can have fun despite the bad weather.
Even though rain showers rolled into Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis on Friday and looked to ruin the MTB-Festival, the opposite was true. Riders faced the showers head-on and turned wet trails into a real spectacle. The riders’ good mood wasn’t brought down by the rain and the shredders of the future gave it all during the Specialized Rookies Cup and the iXS International Rookies Championships. Jackson Goldstone cleaned house in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis and took home both gold medals.
Rain or shine, you can find Jackson Goldstone in Bikepark Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis scoping out new lines and trying to put down a faster lap time. He also works on his skills – in this case how to ride trails when they’re wet. What should a rider watch out for when riding slippery rocks and roots? Can berms still be taken at speed without flying out of the corner? As a Canadian, Jackson knows exactly how to shred during bad weather periods. He discusses these topics and more step by step and shows that even a bad weather day can still deliver a good ride.
