@trevor-attridge: Its more that there's really nothing to do with the 80s in this clip... I was expecting a slipstream skin tight racing suit, ugly old bell helmet and some cantilever brakes at the very least.

This is spot on. Even modern MTB mostly looks like a throwback... with mtb clothing looking like mid-2000s snowboarding gear, and tricks from early 2000s bmx. lol
