Havok bike park is a small area packed with well built DH trails and creative freeride features big enough to challenge many riders. The builders here are building a reputation for having some of the gnarliest jumps and drops in the UK.

dropping in

Tom Pope (Tepee Creative) and I wanted to capture Havok properly, and do it justice. Although the recent rebirth of the pan and zoom era does a lot for me and makes me want to ride, I still believe that well produced 'cinematic' videos should still firmly have their place on homepages.

 It’s a Vitus Dominer!

That mud would wreak havoc on bearings

One of the UK based bike companies needs to release a bike called the wardog just for this park. "Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war!"
  • + 2
@taletotell: think about the gap between the rotors and pads tho
  • + 2
@Kimura: you'll hear the wardogs howling (break squeal caused by mud buildup will be cool then).
  • + 1
@taletotell: then think about the drivetrain
  • + 2
@Kimura: I know the mud will be horrible for the bikes, but in the UK from what I understand it is the price of doing business. The proposed bike could be designed to have easily serviced bearings.

 @taletotell: definitely understandable

If you don't want to ride in mud in the UK you will never ride
  • + 3
@Captain1Eye: The mud shown in this video is nothing compared to what I've been riding in all winter. If I don't come home covered head to foot in mud it's a good day.
  • + 2
@Kimura: its not as bad as you think aye your bike gets filthy but dosnt wreck your bike if your wash it after your ride, and on the plus side if ypu ride the trails in sloppy condition time its summer and there dry its twice as good

I was watching the video and it was a reminder of why Hope components are so reliable Smile

I think you mean: That mud would wreak "Havok" on the bearings?!?
JK but I live near by here, this is how we have to ride for 6-9 months of the year

  • + 1
Its £10 to ride, only push up, but if you have a trail bike the ride up isnt too bad!

am i the only one who thinks calling this a bikepark is weird ? Big Grin this is more like a bunch of well shaped local trails: a bikepark belongs in the mountains !
  • + 1
only because of the fact that it isn't in the mountain there can be awesome lines too, for example EVO Bikepark in France isn't located in high mountains as well but as far as I can tell from the videos/photos their jumplines are bigger and better than most of the european bikeparks!
