I love Jordie and i like eBikes. But here it sure just looks sooo heavy. And if you drive to the spot with a car the eBike is pointless. Don‘t get the message here...

The Decoy is not designed to replace the car!
(May 9, 2019 at 21:59)
: no? Imo bikes are designed to do just that. And bikes with motors even more. You can shuttle yourself AND ride downhill fast. So...

Exactly my thoughts.
(May 9, 2019 at 10:07)
He's sending it cause he a great rider who can send anything but it appeared to me that the extra weight was making the bike wallow a bit (00:56) when a decent bike without a motor and battery pack would skip playfully over the surface. Least ways that's how it looked from where I'm sitting...
(May 9, 2019 at 11:56)
I don't ride at the level he does (nor do I ride with pedal assist) so I'm only guessing here, but I suppose even though it is additional weight, the electronics give the bike a lower cg and a relatively lower unsprung weight. So on the kind of steep stuff he's doing, that could actually be helpful. Not saying there aren't cheaper ways to achieve that of course, but I just meant to say that the added weight probably isn't just a downside.
(May 9, 2019 at 14:28)
: fair comment.
(May 9, 2019 at 19:34)
In my minimal experience having demoed and e-mtb, the additional weight makes the bike significantly more stable through chop compared to my analog mtb.
(May 9, 2019 at 23:02)
the extra weight generally isn’t that noticeable, it doesn’t feel heavy to ride. I do however seem to have to work harder to clear bigger jumps

Loving the fact that the doggo took the chicken line.
(May 9, 2019 at 11:57)
Jordie needs a trail cat, he's outgrown the trail dog.
(May 9, 2019 at 17:26)
Don't get enough treats for that bullsh!t
(May 9, 2019 at 11:10)
doggo: nah mate..
(May 9, 2019 at 15:26)
The dog was like... Fuck off I'm going down there
(May 13, 2019 at 15:23)
How does the motor part work? Like a throttle?

Ebike with mx goggles - oh my! What’s next?
(May 9, 2019 at 9:59)
I can definitely see the visual weight of that combo
(May 9, 2019 at 9:18)
that last send.. geez..
(May 9, 2019 at 21:30)
Looks sick. Can’t wait to get my first eBike!
(May 9, 2019 at 12:22)
What's the song?
(May 9, 2019 at 13:28)
I don't know, but the words near the beginning sound like they were saying "heavy" over and over. Appropriate for an e-bike ad.
(May 9, 2019 at 10:01)
no need for an e bike. the end

Warning at the begining makes no sense, because typical e-motorbike buyer is hardly leaving asphalt or hardpacked gravel road, they (thank god) mostly live outside of blue and green trails.... :-)
