Still hard to think about and I only met him a few times and rode a few runs. Can't imagine how his friends riding that day feel. This t-shirt idea is brilliant, I'll take 3 at least.
  • 7 1
Count me in as well. I hope this will happen!

Awesome idea. That illustration printed big on the back and then something simple on the front like 'LongLiveJordie' or 'RoughAF'

@Kylenystad: jordie's family is a better option, i think. and i'd buy one.
  • 13 0
@savagelake: I’d buy two, and I agree Jordie’s family should get a portion of proceeds. They will know where it should go if it’s not needed at home.

I’m in for a shirt or tank too - let the money go to his family, friends, loved ones. They will direct it appropriately.

Taj - always inspired. Thank you.

  • 3 0
Yes man I’d buy that if it was going to a good cause

@TombPhoto: Rough AF would be perfect on the flip side
  • 12 1
For what it's worth from a graphic designer the front would be perfect if the shirt itself had that turquoise fade with the ladder graphic on front. Then that great portrait of him on the back with ROUGHAF on top. Has to be colorful as every time I had the privilege of seeing him he had mega style gear on. His family decides where the proceeds go. Let's make this happen please.

Me too will love a shirt to remember Jordie and maybe raise founds for a good cause in hai memory. It would be a great and right tribute to him i believe.

I think alot of us would. I'll take 2!
  • 3 0
@slowlow: I agree- They should be Tank tops. That's Jordie's style
  • 1 0
@Buddler: Jared's work is always amazing, but that was produced at a different time. I feel Taj's illustration with it's simplicity lends itself better to the sentiment behind what the suggested shirt would be for
  • 1 0
 Yep, on that too
  • 7 0
So if you look at the numbers interested and props I would say 500 shirts would sell out quick. Let's say $30 a shirt since it's very customized is $15000. From my experience with these type of projects getting the artist on board and management of proceeds and getting the shirts made can be challenging. Any way I can be of assistance, have been a graphic designer since 1993.
  • 2 0
 I’ll buy one
  • 3 0
Maybe someone with production power can take this on. LRGA (Loose Riders)? Can anyone let them know?
  • 3 0
@2d-cutout: my sister in law makes shirt by the thousand and she outsources it with the artist signing off somewhere with good fabric and can get shirts made for less than $10 a piece. If @TajMihelich is on board I can get work on trying to make this happen.
  • 1 0
i would like to own this shirt….
  • 2 0
 Make this happen please!

Maybe proceeds, illustrations are hard to come off. How about we do this at cost no bs. Obviously a tonnage of people would love to remover a tough loss without red tape.
  • 1 0
@jorgeposada: I'm game to call them and see about setting up link to buy direct no mark up etc. Let me get to ask ing some questions.
  • 2 0
@ThePeanutGallery: I'm here anything I can do, it's tough I know. People worry about money, would he care if we lost money getting hundreds of people just a reminder to get out and go hardAF in the trails. Let's honor him in a very small way.

I like how the original comment has less likes than your comment has downvotes shows the true nature of people. People like to hate more than they like to love @thesharkman:

Normally I enjoy so much your comics, but today I love most your words when you say "My condolences to friends and family (and that includes all of us on bikes). Ride on."
Even here in my small Ossola Valley lost in the Alps with other riders VB going hard uphill we spoke about Jordie. And everyone love him.
  • 12 0
Sleeveless hoodie that’s what he would want
  • 5 0
If is amazing how we can lose someone in our community & be impacted, even with few things that you may share in common. One thing is for sure the guy loved bikes & so do I! My condolences for friends & family.

Taj: Simply a perfect and beautiful way to honor Jordie's spirit. Thank you.

Great work Taj. I never met Jordie, along with many other who were fans, and still loved him. I can only imagine the positive impact that he had on those who were lucky enough to enjoy his presence.

Great tribute Taj, I'd love a print of the tree roll in for my wall..

I remember the first time I saw a clip of the tree ride I thought “who the hell would look at a tree and think 'I can ride that’ and of course... Jordie”
  • 3 0
The top image symbolizes Jordie perfectly. Well done. Ride in peace Jordie #LongLiveJordie
  • 1 0
The first picture is chilling! It can be used to any area of human love and effort, building your own obstacles to progress, again and again, to get higher upon the point when one world is no more sufficient for that being.
  • 3 0
Top should be a shirt. He will never be forgotten

  • 1 0
 From the downvoted comments:

"Jordie did demolish this right after he rode it cause it was to dangerous"
  • 2 1
We need to make a memorial out of that tree ride.
  • 1 0
Great graphics even greater tribute. Shred in peace.
