Dear EpicTV. For the first 30 seconds of this video, I had roughly 4 fps, because you were loading a GoPro ad. Then during the final half-minute, your incredibly annoying and ultimately stupid rating system blocked the top 1/5th of the screen.

Kick rocks.
  • 38 1
I didn't think it was possible to shred that hard in trainer socks
  • 20 3
i have no idea what you are talking about terra. i am using adblock tho.
  • 7 0
We all either have or want a gopro right? No advertisement needed. In the rating system, there's no option for Ulty BC Dopeness
  • 10 0
 HD? I don't think so.
  • 11 2
Dear Norco. Please feel free to send me a range carbon to race next year. Looks par for a proper bc "trail beating".
  • 14 2
Why do all Norco bikes have to look so damn good?
  • 11 0
And people thought the Red Bull player was bad. I f*cking hate Epic TV's bullshit. Regardless, that was an insane video. Those rock rolls were intense. I've gotta throw this in, not sure if its the same area but there's a vid on here of someone riding the most insane double rock roll I've ever seen. The second roll has a stump just before it that the rider has to avoid. Anyone have any idea? Its absolute insanity.
  • 8 2
You know you could have closed the rating system, right?
  • 6 5
@jabrones, nope i don't have one and i for sure don't want one... but i am old school. i rather watch riders who can ride in edits which are well done than whatever raw material i would produce riding around on depressing trails in LA...

anyway same result, no advertisement need Wink

@byubound, I think the point is that the rating system totally interrupts the flow of watching the video, especially if you have to close it to free up your screen. I hate these type of pop-up's.
  • 4 1
just use adblock... no shit going on there for me.
  • 8 4
 1. Press the "x"
2. Stop crying.
  • 1 0
Unless you are watching on a phone, in which case the video doesnt play at all.

That fork did more work in a day than my fork will see in a lifetime. Lazy ass fork....
  • 41 1
Your trail ride is my downhill ride... But wayyy gnarler...
  • 18 0
i think the video was probably totally awesome but i couldnt tell for sure due to the incredibly useless video player.
  • 13 0
Wow, just wow. I remember riding a similar trail off of a trail called "Entrails" up there. I "rode" most of it. Way over my skill level. Big granite rock drops, ladders, etc... Amazing ride though what I could ride. Just showed how much better of a rider I could be.
Squamish rocks.
  • 11 0
Entrails is rad. Quite near it is a newish trail called Rupert. Also lots of big rock rolls. Squampton rules.
  • 4 0
Or even closer and better, Treasure Trail…
  • 2 0
Treasure Trail is a whole other level... bring your A game. Squamish has great rock work!
  • 6 0
Treasure trail is insane but it's a pretty high level one (even the chicken passes), Rupert is awesome but pretty busy sometimes...Anyway, whatever the trail it is, whatever your level is...Squamish is...The greatest place on earth for biking. Big Grin
(my favorites are Cakewalk and Somewhere Over There)
And this video is.....very inspiring !

Alice Lake - Entrails land - Squamish
One Zone - so much to offer

Easiest to hardest with granite rock-rolls
1) Room with a view
2) Rupert
3) Boney Elbows
4) Gouranga
5) Value Added - Penthouse
6) Hueso
7) Intestinal fortitude - only one slab but its a sphincter tightener.
Cool Treasure Trail
9) Larvacide - Gem trail that sees no traffic

Thanks for the ego boost. I rode three of those trails, cleaning the features on the first run this summer. Didn't even know what I was getting into. Just followed the leader... (Ok, technically I left a little flesh up there, so it wasn't entirely clean.)
  • 4 0
Thanks you Dave for the trails
  • 7 0
For the list I mean. Crampit has awesome rock zones and Banzai Pipeline is in a zone all of itself too. Don't forget to support SORCA everyone who loves these trails

every video recently, whether its trail enduro or downhill, people are doing tricks!!
  • 2 0
Looks hard to x-up with those wide low flat bars.
  • 14 0
 Tobaggon was a nice finish!
  • 6 0
I thought homeboy invented a new trick at 2:31 that would surely be called the "bar-turn, ball grab". Alas, it was your run of the mill massive step-down seat grab to invisible landing through dense trees. Still impressed. SAVAGE film? yes
  • 12 0
That would be a tobaggon, dip your nose for tweaker points
  • 3 1
He's having a stab. A clicked t-bog involves boning the whole bike forward, which naturally results in the bars turning, which I am assuming bvd453 was poking fun at. Still, to do it on the stepdown on that trail, ballsy!
  • 6 0
Nice edit. Reminds me of the old "Shore" circa 90's with Shandro, Simmons and the boys.
  • 1 0
Yeah, amazing how things have progressed. Wonder how this guy would go on a 90's 'freeride' rig weighing 50lbs?
  • 7 1
Alright, so I have the same bike, same helmet and the same knee-pads; yet I don't ride like that. What gives? Wink
  • 14 1
 must be the shorts
  • 3 0
 You got his sox?
  • 4 0
He's saving weight by not wearing goggles.
  • 3 1
Rode in Squamish in July, and it was freaking great. However, it's a really small town, so I don't think the job prospects are too good, and driving from Vancouver was a traffic nightmare. I also rode My. Fromme and Cumberland, which were equally good. I wish we could have well built expert level public trails like these here in CO.
  • 4 0
 build them!
  • 7 0
I commute from Squamish to Vancouver. It takes an hour door to door.
  • 3 2
 45-50mins for me.
  • 1 0
Yeah, I guess it depends on which side of the city you are on. Driving through the city sucks (at least in July when I was there).

We simply can't have jumps or wooden features on trails in CO, they just aren't allowed on public trails. Illegal trails are much more difficult to hide here due to less dense forest unless they are really out in the boonies, plus I doubt illegal trails would ever approach the quality of those in Squamish and Cumberland. The features are extremely well thought out, and not the kind of thing a group of 5 people is going to put together over a couple of weekends.
  • 1 0
Where are you in Colorado? I have ridden some great Techy jumpy trails there. In fact Colorado is known for being a great MTB state.
  • 2 0
teton pass, unspoken north shore if you can afford it. hear nothin but eagles in the mornin. hitchin is a bit tougher than N Van but not much. Screw CO.
  • 1 0
Rode Teton this summer and was blown away. That area is one of my faves on the planet!
  • 4 0
FYI Jeremy is an engineer...in Squamish. There's a few good jobs around, just have to search for them. Filmmaker being one of them Smile
  • 1 0
@noblezilla: About the same as the "Everett to Seattle" commute, only you live somewhere WAY better! (trail wise, among other things)
  • 6 1
Well, that was savage (pun fully intended).
  • 2 0
I love mountain bikes. I love short videos like this that can remind me of that, pass along some vicarious joy, and stoke me for my mountin bike ride to work tomorrow am (also love where I live).
  • 4 0
I thought it was impossible to shred gnar while clipped in wearing XCish shoes.... (sarcasm)
  • 4 0
I was arrested in squamish 22 years ago....I'm coming back for some of that nasty!
  • 4 0
Dear canada, please send me these trails.. Awesome riding!
  • 1 0
Beautiful trails....seriously, I was more impressed with the trails and scenery more than anything. I live in Socal where it's a dust bowl and love anytime I get to ride in anything green.
  • 6 2
 Wagon wheel steez?
  • 5 3
 27.5 is not wagon wheel
  • 5 0
 Half-clown steez.
  • 2 3
 keep dragging your knuckles...
  • 2 0
Pinned! Video was great and that trail looks wicked. Love the old school style at 00:20 too
  • 2 0
Wiked film angles. Pure riding........well above my skill level. Still I love riding those squamtom trails.
  • 5 2
Was this made before or after those frames were recalled due to cracking!?
  • 3 0
I'd call it more of a blemis Norco wasn't happy about. Everyone got a replacement front triangle to keep rapport. Yeah the initial wait BLEW!
  • 3 0
Im just sore about the fact I waited that long and never got one! haha! I'll let it go one day advansti!
  • 3 1
Broke my collar bone a month ago...still can't ride.....these type of vids are my only saving grace,,,,stoked!
  • 1 0
Yes! Trail riding is what you make it! Today's trail bikes can handle DH at speed with a skilled rider.... Just throw a leg over a Banshee Spitfire and you'll know whatsup.
  • 2 0
I ride like this really...but usually I'm in bed with my eyes closed when I do.
  • 1 0
Great work guys. Some of those 'from below' angles really play down the severity of the exposure... I think I held my breath for a solid minute. Jeremy = absolute Rager
  • 2 0
I dont see why downhillers wear full face helmets while the smaller bike riders where ski helmets... they do the same riding
  • 2 0
That is MY kind of trail riding....good job!
  • 3 1
i wish i could ride like this with my full on dh rig - awesome!
  • 4 1
 NOR-freakin-CO
  • 2 0
I think I need to step up my XC riding..
  • 1 0
Conclusion : Make a slow motion for jump and shred, and you'll become Hollywood star.
  • 1 0
THIS BIKE DONT HAVE ENOUGH TYRE CLEARANCE, I LOST 2 RACES BECAUSE OF IT,,,HAHAHAHAH
  • 1 0
Wow so that video is a choppy piece of shit regardless of where i try to watch it
  • 1 0
 Solid work Alex! Great video!!!
  • 1 0
great trails here but could use some of that in revy. that's awesome
  • 1 0
I need to ride this shit .
  • 7 7
Why was he wearing an open face? I wouldn't dare ride that sort of terrain without a full face?
  • 4 0
Agreed, but then again my balls are soft and squishy - not made of steel. ;-)
  • 3 0
Because these are our 'all mtn' trails. Many sections of these trails have uphill single track sections
  • 1 0
Uphill sucks, but the trail in Squamish.... Fuck yeah!
  • 2 0
I plan on picking up one of the new Bell Super 2R helmets for the 'all mountain' trails. Just remove the chin bar for the uphill and reattach for the gnarlier downhill stuff. Dental work is so expensive.... ;-)
  • 1 0
some gnar was definitely just shredded
  • 1 0
The last jump looks like the one 2/3 the way down Antithesis. Yeah?
  • 4 0
 Yeah!
  • 1 0
 Nice riding jeremy!
  • 2 0
 Exactamundo! @GuyHolder
  • 1 0
Sweeeeeeeeeeet! Now I want to ride!
  • 2 0
 That was great. Thanks!
  • 1 0
that is a burly trail right there.
  • 1 0
Just can't watch the movie. 2 fps max. sucks a lot.
  • 1 1
Anybody know the trails with the jumps and gaps near the end of the video? Looks similar to grin n holler, but not sure.
  • 1 0
Sweet! Killer riding and some pretty ballsy airs too.
  • 1 0
That guy's an animal-- VOD fo sho!
  • 1 0

  • 1 0
Gonna make this weekends ride seem a bit weak
  • 1 0
 that bike was gorgeous...
  • 1 0
Oh man, that was a great segment!!!
  • 1 0
found myself involutarily saying F*****G HELL a few times during that
  • 1 0
these trails remind me of some of Squamish's.
