We, at Bikepark Champéry-Morgins know that you are all dreaming of an endless mountain biking season. Unfortunately, we can't provide that as at some point the snow will come for the winter. What we can give you as compensation is an extended season providing lift access in Champéry to satisfy your downhill, enduro and e-bike needs every weekend until 22nd October. See ya on the trails!

I find it pretty funny having shots of the awesome trails in Morgins in this article - we got ourselves out there this summer and the lift was shut, for the season apparently. No signs telling us this anywhere along the way. We stay in Morzine every year - those of you who know the area, know it's not a short trip over to Morgins and back by bike. We basically spent over half a day pedalling downhill bikes around on fireroads and tarmac roads. Not fun!

Buggered lift apparently thats going to cost squillians to fix. I cant see it opening again.

That's a shame, some of the best trails in the area there. Got to be the least blue, blue graded trail ever!

Yep, we went there too and it was only local knowledge that stopped us getting stuck.

Morgins chairlift was supposed to be replaced by a gondola for this year but the town ran out of money. Thus no lift this summer and it is looking unlikely that there will be one for this winter. It is most unfortunate because the Morgins bikepark is one of the best in the Portes du Soleil!

Cheers mate I did ride Swiss National and Crosets a couple of months back but I will have to pop over to champrey next time and check the new track out , The main Champrey cable car ride is quite exciting too Smile

Its a good job Crossets is closed. I was making snow angels at the top in early August. Thought I might die on the ride back down! soo cold lol

Hey mate how many runs, tracks are there ,I have not been for a while so only rode the WC track ,is there enough for a weeks riding

@konacyril: I'm assuming the crosets side is still open too. If it is then you've got the Swiss national, plus the newer lower one on that side, plus the Crosets DH track. On the Champery side there's the WC track and a new one for this year which I didn't get a chance to ride this summer but the word was it was good.

Not sure there's enough to justify a week's riding just in the Champery area though

@konacyril: The lifts at Crosets already closed but there are still three tracks open. The WC track, than a new one going down beside the WC track half the mountain, which is pretty flowy and nice to ride and than there is also one going down the other side of the mountain down to Crosets which is also very flowy with some good jumps and berms but at the end of that you have to go 5-10 mins down a road to get to the lift.
I think a whol week is maybe a bit too much. Three days will do it an after that you could go to Verbier, thats an hour away an is also a awsome bikepark. Thats really one you should also check out!

Cool thanks for the information I did spend a day in Linderettes which was very good if your ever out that way , There are only a few tracks but they are very good and quite technical , Then its a short pedal up the road and you get the free bus to Chatel bike park

@konacyril: Ahh ok, that sounds nice, I have to check it out the next summer!
