King and Queen of Crankworx World Tour: 2015 Winners

Aug 16, 2015
by Pinkbike Staff
Crankworx has always crowned a King and Queen of Crankworx, naming the best overall male and female athlete of the Whistler festival. With the launch of the World Tour in 2015, the athletes had an additional multidisciplinary challenge on their plates. Results from some 22 events for men, and 16 events for women, were tabulated to crown a victor for the entire tour; the King and Queen of the Crankworx World Tour.

The King and Queen of the Crankworx World Tour earned their crowns for a full season of hard work, in multiple disciplines, on dirt from the Southern Hemisphere to the peaks of the Alps. The Crowns are worth $25,000 each.

- Queen of Crankworx -

1 // Anneke BEERTEN // NED // Specialized

- King of Crankworx -

1 // Bernard KERR // GBR // Pivot

It's a solid prize. Beerten is a tough, tough rider. Let's see some pansy Pro Tour roadie compete for something like this (aside from Peter Sagan or Lars Boom perhaps...)
