After several years of development, and a few delays, the long anticipated Fugitive is in stock and ready to ship.

We brought our team riders James Doerfling, Steve Storey, and Jeremy Stowards out for their first ride, on our first 29er, and in typical Knolly fashion they were instantly comfortable and pushing the limits of the bike.

Our riders wanted an epic bike that could take them into the backcountry, attack the biggest descents, efficiently climb steep technical trails and adapt to any route to provide a comfortable ride on long beautiful single track trails so we took them to the interior of BC to let them try the Fugitive in a variety of terrain.

Steve Storey blurs the line between fashion and foliage.

We designed the Fugitive to be the best climbing model we have ever produced but it didn't take long for the guys to get rowdy. Jeremy had a hard time keeping the wheels on the ground for the entire trip.

Then James joined the fun.

The trip started with ribbons of single track.

But the guys found the steeper lines as well.

Jeremy getting all the traction in a corner.

And the trip ended with more ribbons in perfect conditions.

The Fugitive frames range in price from $2100 to $2663 USD, with complete bikes ranging from $4356 to $7462 USD.

I really can't wait for a review on a Fugitive LT instead of a marketing video.

Same! Pinkbike is working on one but they need some proper time to give a fair review.

@KNOLLYBIKES: glad to hear PB has an LT in for review. Next year is new bike time (barring any unforeseen catastrophes) and I’m between the Fugitive LT, a Pivot Switchblade, and a GG Trail Pistol or Shred Dog. Knollys are a rare beast where I live so there isn’t much opportunity to test ride one.

Rad looking bike Knolly! What is the fork offset used and any plans for carbon in the future like the Warden?

@KNOLLYBIKES: Great! I can't wait to read the review! I'm really interested in how well it climbs and performs as an all-around mountain bike. I really appreciate that you guys made it able to take 27.5x3.0 tires. I am absolutely in love with my High Roller IIs on 45 internal rims and there aren't a lot of bikes that will take that.

Been lucky enough to have been riding one of these frames full time since May and its the best bike I've ever owned! So dialled! Noel has outdone himself with this one.

Damn, I’ve had my finger ready to pull the trigger on a GG Trail Pistol and now this Fugitive comes along...choices, choices. So nice!

 That is a tough one.....

Trail Pistol or Fugitive
Smash or Fugitive LT

@WasatchEnduro: For what it's worth I have a Smash and love it. 150mm/140mm is a nice sweet spot between full on monster truck enduro bike and aggressive trail bike.

@WasatchEnduro: I've tried both frame designs and i can say I prefer GG geo, but Knolly's suspension is more refined.

thanks, i've only heard (read) good things about them. i'll be throwing a leg over one next weekend at outerbike! stoked.

that's exactly what i'm targeting 140ish rear 150ish front, wagon size! and the flip adjust looks brilliant. screw geo adjust, everyone just puts their back in slackerest anyway.

but I'll be throwing a leg over a fugitive LT also if Knolly's there!

I have a Smash in XXL...fork at 160mm. Incredibly versatile and capable. Ridiculously fun on every trail I’ve tried it on...

I'll be posting all sorts of stuff on my buy/sell page in the next week to help buy one of these. Might even have to raid my kids piggy bank.

Whenever i hear Knolly or see one i always raise my hand and give the "v" sign, maybe it's for victory or peace or both, either way i'm spreading positive vibes, just like Knolly bikes when you ride 'em. Fugitive looks rad.

 Blue and orange for me.

Bike looks awesome, for me i like it was showcased here on some mixed, sweet looking backcountry trails. Most trail bikes these days can handle most decents, but see how well it pedals, corners abd accelerates on less steep terrain i think is more important for a versatile trail shredder.

“Instantly comfortable pushing the limits of the bike”- Takes it on some mellow single track.

Great point, single track out on Harper mountain and in Kamloops is super fast high speed. It does have it's share of rough stuff. Somehow the guys still managed to find one of the only 15 foot drops on the mountain in the first 10 mins on their new bikes and all hit it. That seemed like confidence to us but we held the footage because while cool, it didn't align with the message we want to put out for this bike. Our Delirium is a beast if you want to huck.
