Local pinners Andrew Crimmins and Tegan Molloy are no strangers to the national level race course. Both Andrew and Tegan take out their respective Under 19 categories on their home course. Despite a drivetrain mechanical issue, Tegan clocks the fastest female time of the weekend. Andrew bounces back from a shoulder injury at Mt Buller. He also manages to claims the second quickest time overall of all the men on course.

Connor Fearon gives Thredbo a miss, choosing to focus on training and preparing himself to head overseas this season. Matt Taylor had to sit this one out, with ongoing ligament damage sustained at the previous round at Mt Buller.

Tegan Molloy freewheeled the whole way down because of a mechanical up top and still took the win. Andrew Crimmins said its a pretty long track too so Tegan def put in a hell of a good run when she was unable to pedal. The girl did good.......

about 5min long for elite men, troy finished took the win in 4:46, 2nd and 3rd in the 4:50's and the rest over 5min. it used to be longer but they have done lots of work over the years to make it better. Tegan finished in 5:46 but that was her slower run. Decent length track. I really wish they would host a worldcup there rather than Canberra.

Sure. It eats up the downs like a dh bike in a very playful, poppy manner, with a bottomless rear, and rewards a steady cadence back to the top.(not sprighlty but doesn't Bob)
The geo is the game changer with proper reach, top tubes, short chAinstays, and steepish seat angle, low bottom braket.(Modern geo all) based on 40 stem.
Comes w/a pike (enough said there).
Monarch + not too shabby, but float x may have upperhand.
ShimaNo brakes(enough said)

@31.5lbs, Needs carbon diet to be an all day rig...stay with the 'A' group.
Best of both maybe the 134 w/150 pike..
Wish they had a carbon 143!

They could do another scandium bike to lose the weight.

I just love the sound of a bike going down the trail, music for my ears!

Could just be the video angles but track looks like a blue run at Angel Fire or Keystone

Didn't film much of the tight, technical tree sections as they're pretty slow and awkward in comparison to the flat out traverses.

This track looks a little boring based on the video. IMO
