Kovarik Racing Announces 2018 Magura Rider Development Team

For 2018, Magura continues to back us in helping to support some rad, young, up and coming DH athletes. We are honoured to be in a position to act as coaches, mentors and friends to this solid crew of motivated youth. And we are so proud to see our riders grow and rise up through the ranks!

This season, Ben Wallace and Kendall McLean's main focus will be on World Cups, National Champs and select Canada Cups as 2nd-year Juniors. Seth Sherlock will be racing both regionally and heading overseas for all Crankworx events and some IXS Cup experiences. And Piper Allman will be focusing on Canadian events and potentially her first World Cup at MSA. Wild! We will be there for them whenever and wherever we can and backing them through all the building highs and learning lows. We believe in these youth.

The Team

Ben Wallace



Ben Wallace has combined serious talent, hard work and loads of heart to become one of the fastest up and coming juniors in Canada. We are excited to be backing Ben in reaching his goals. Keep your eye out for this youth at all levels this year!



Kendall Mclean



Kendall McLean has some serious natural talent and speed on a bike and consistently puts down times that are not far off the fastest pros. We are very stoked to have him on board with us again this year and to continue watching him grow as an athlete. His attitude and maturity seem beyond his years and we believe this will translate to success in both sport and living life!



Piper Allman



Don't be fooled by this girl's sweet and unassuming nature, she is fierce! Piper's talent for mountain biking continues to progress and thrive. We are glad we can continue to offer our support to help her achieve whatever it is she wants to achieve and she is well on her way!



Seth Sherlock



Seth has been working with us since he was a little grom. He has talent, and a rad attitude. He keeps us laughing and has a bright future in the sport whichever avenue of it he decides to take. He lives and breathes biking, he just can't get enough of it and it shows in his progression on the bike.



Noah Allman



Noah is a talented rider, trail builder and an aspiring filmmaker. The mountain bike industry has many opportunities and racing isn't for everyone. We are happy to have Noah on board to explore his talents in the bike world. As our team's videographer, his work is progressively getting better and better and we love watching his creativity and passion take shape.
