Germany, the home country of their Conti tyres, offered the two bike-buds some top-notch riding locations in Hamburg, Goslar and Berlin.

They also got to switch their two wheels for four wheels and spin around the Contidrom test track facility in ultra-high performance cars as well as their old camper van.

bigquotesRoad trips are one of the best things you can do with friends! Martin and I have talked about doing one for years and I'm stoked it finally worked out! We started in Hamburg, what I consider one of the best cities for street in the world and even though it rained the whole day we still had a good laugh. Ragging a fancy car around the track was fun but rallying the old van around the Contidrom was even better. The highlight of the trip for me though, was watching Martin riding Mellow Park in Berlin. He just makes it look way too easy! All in all, we had such an awesome time and will need to plan another trip soon!Danny MacAskill

bigquotesThis year is my 10-year anniversary as a professional freestyle mountain bike rider. I am pretty sure there was no better way to celebrate that than to go on a road trip through Germany with one of the nicest and most creative street riders in the world! Looking back at the trip I am 100% convinced that there is no better way to experience a country than on two and four wheels. My favourite part of the trip was definitely watching the ”Danny Show”. It didn’t matter what time of the day it was, or if it was pouring it down with rain, he still managed to blow my mind at every single street spot we rode. Luckily, we ended the trip with some park riding where I feel more comfortable. I can’t thank Continental enough for making this road trip happen. Definitely one I will remember for the rest of my life!Martin Söderström

Kudos for Danny not trying to flair that rock wall, nailing it on his first try after Martin attempted it for what looks like ~ 4 hours.

I was waiting for just that.... lol.

1 up is bad for morale

I feel bad for any rider who has to ride next to Danny macaskill and try to look good in comparison!

These two are a dream team! Finally a new video of those two together, was waiting for that since the last one for about five years!

 Bring back Road Fools.

F*ck yeah. Road Fools is probably the reason that i found this video underwhelming. While riding has certainly progressed, just the Düsseldorf university segment in Euro Fools is better than anything they ride in this vid. I'd love some longer MTB videos with that Road Fools vibe.

This man thankfully provides some nostalgia: www.pinkbike.com/u/DIEG0/channel/all/?page=1

Couldn't agree more! It would be so sick to see a mountain bike equivalent of road fools. Or even just see current BMX riders do it. Still my favorite videos all these years later!

What did Danny just do at 7:35 in the video, absolutely insane!

Great video! As a mere mortal, I'd love it it producers of these videos included a little snippet at the end that gave the number of hours of footage shot to product the final product. I have not idea, but given the takes they included, for this 8.5min video it must be tons!

Also, do you pronounce Danny's name exactly as written "as kill", "ass kill", "ask ill" or "a skill"? My Scottish is pretty weak.

Similar and yet totally different riding styles. So cool the way different ridding diciplines learn to use gravity in different ways.

When you ride bikes as much as these guys you forget how to pump gas!

Hard to beleive half the stuff these two do, and harder to beleive they are stuck in Berlin and have to cycle home
