Nico Vink and Kristoff don't hold back when it comes to building, and jumping, large piles of dirt. Loosefest is a prime example of what they prefer to ride and for 2017 it looks like the line is setup perfectly.
Watching them warm up and send things kind of awkwardly at first makes it more comprehensible, and when you realize that they're human, the jumps look even that much bigger. Damn!
I thought the same when Joel Anderson rode it last year, now I'm watching Josh and Craig Evans for the first time not look 100% dialled and there is something so cool about it...just knowing how insanely talented they all are and this is seriously pushing them. So rad to watch...it's like when you got that big jump for the first time only a thousand times moar rad.
Do they close rebounds when guinea pigging those jumps? I mean, so the bike is slower and more stable. Curious to know if is part of first approach technique or is it just me
No mate I was a joking even if they were half the size I would need to man up quite a bit lol But yes your right these riders are in a different league .
I reckon some Rise Against would go well? Or some classic rock, Hell Patrol by Judas Priest? Or some heavy stuff, perhaps a bit of Needled 24/7 by Children of Bodom? Have fun!
Last year they needed to go faster than 63km/h on the big drop (the one with fences for the spectators at 3:35). (A radar-screen was on the side before the jump)
