Lucas Cruz has announced on social media that he will be the latest rider to join the Norco Factory Racing Team after riding with Vali Höll on the Sram TLD team for the past two years.

The young Canadian rider saw some great successes while racing as a Junior with seven top-five finishes and a 4th place at the Mont-Sainte-Anne World Champs last year. For 2020 however, he joins Sam Blenkinsop and Henry Fitzgerald onboard the Norco Factory team.

Cant remember which NSX movie it was, but Ken Maude sliding into a tree on his green VPS-1 was hilarious because of the loud 'TWANG' sound his frame made lol

I had an A-line, 2008. The noises that were made when my headtube snapped off were legendary, the sounds off my fullface bar snapping off were legendary too just a split second after.

Just have to say....working with this kid was an extreme pleasure. Even before we put him on SRAM TLD RACING, we had him with Andrew Shandro's Trek Development program-working with Ethan Shandro and Lucas Cruz got us to know 2 awesome kids. Moving into 2019 and putting Lucas on SRAM TLD, he is super fast, cool as a cucumber, kind and thoughtful, but with a calculated racer head. Wish him nothing but success, the Cruz family is amazing and so stoked he ended up with a great team for 2020-always a bummer to lose riders from the TLD program, but it's like seeing your kids go off to college haha. BEST OF LUCK BRO! and we will look after lil bro! haha

Good and right decision from Norco to invest in more Canadian talents. The team may not be on the podium immediately but I suspect (and hope) they’ll get more fellow Canadians to cheer for them.

 He’s really fast! Good luck
On another note, what’s the word with his old teammate Shandro?
